Founded in Chicago in 1998, 20K Freaks is a redefining force and label, dedicated to exploring themes of old and new with upfront in-your-face dance music. The critical and artistic output of 20K Freaks is influenced by breakbeat projects and modern house genres, but it also ventures beyond to show off the genre-bending aspect that works so well. FACTORe, the label's founder, has gained attention for the top-notch production he has created for the global electronic music industry; such as the label boss’s 12’’ release ‘Move This Bass’ and 'Move This Bass' (Infiniti Remix) which earned a top spot on the charts, releases from high profile artists like Knick (BroSafari), The Autobots and Keith MacKenzie & DJ Fixx, and hosting exceptionally memorable club nights at Amnesia and many Miami venues. 20K Freaks packed up in one room!


  Karmic Waves has made quite a splash in the Florida DJ scene with his energetic performances and unique mixing style. His experience sharing the stage with well-known DJs has likely contributed to his success. It's impressive that he taught himself to beat match by ear, adding to his distinctive approach to mixing music. His blend of old school breaks with a modern twist seems to resonate well with the audience. His passion for Breaks, Electro, and Drum N Bass is evident. Having shared the stage with influential DJs like DJ Icey, DJ Babyanne, Infiniti, Monk, Bad Boy Bill, Odi, AK1200, Paul Santana, FACTORe, Pump DJs, Mayhem, Exzakt, Burufunk, Mike & Charlie, Dee Jay Shaolin, Eric Berretta Huda Hudia, J-Break, Urban J, Mizzo, Keith Mackenzie, and Doc Roc. Karmic Waves has had an incredible journey in the music scene, from his early fascination with Miami Bass to becoming a skilled DJ and sharing the stage with some of his biggest influences. Through hard work and passion he is chasing his dreams and making them a reality!

I have from day one  “ in the beginning , when house was house “ been connected deeply to the sounds of EDM . My first introduction to this music was MARS “ Rabbit N The Moon . First time I ate a “bean” I was so scared about what was to come as I like to have control 😂😂 I left on my own over the cocoa bridge !  Amazing ! The one thing or rather sound I’ll never forget was the “beat(s) the newness of this spectacular new sound that made sense in my head . I could hear every beat , when the next mix met !  I got so obsessed with paying attention to when the next mix would come in , maybe I forgot how to connect because that was my focus  it drove me . And when I nailed it ( or at least I felt like I did 😂😂 in my own complicated mind) I moved on to the next mix to the next - mind you I still do this and always have pipe dreams of learning and being taught the schematics of mixing  but alas I bought the DJPioneer 2100  and I realized I might be missing a key element ,  fear  or thinking that my love for how I listen to it or go into my own space bubble would take the LOVE I have for this music and the feeling , love and joy would be gone .  I believe it is the latter ! I am no DJ - there’s more to it thank two  Amazon bought mixing board and a USB with 1700 tracks on it that makes a DJ . I have MAD respect for the ones that have that EAR that total BEAT in their hearts to share this music with us !! Thank you ❤️

DJ Dr. Unk brings two decades of passion for electronic music and high-energy performances to the decks. Originally from Miami and raised in Lakeland, Florida, he has absorbed the sounds and vibes of scenes from Florida to DC, Southern California, and even Japan.

Now based in Little Rock, Arkansas, Dr. Unk is a staple in the local EDM community, spinning at festivals, events, and underground gatherings. His sets blend deep, driving beats with an electrifying presence, always rooted in the PLUR ethos. He’s also taken his sound to the open decks of Groove Cruise in 2022 and 2025, bringing his signature style to an international audience.
