20 Uñas es una Dj peruana nacida en Lima, pero ha vivido en Rotterdam, Holanda, casi toda su vida. Es una artista interdisciplinaria especializada en los campos de la fotografía y del mix media, pero esos medios no le bastaban para expresar su creatividad así que, en 2020 empezó a mezclar.

20 uñas fusiona todo tipo de sonidos, desde cumbia psicodélica hasta Low fi, future beats y reggaetón. Por eso, y porque cree que la música no se puede reducir a palabras, no sabe cómo llamarle al estilo que toca. Es que, como artista, le gusta traspasar los límites. Lo importante es que, mientras toca y escucha música, se va descubriendo a ella misma.

20 Uñas, a creator without borders
20 Uñas [20 Nails] is the name of a Peruvian DJ born in Lima, raised in Rotterdam. She's an interdisciplinary artist, specialized in photography and mixed media. In 2020 she realized those mediums didn't allow her creativity to be expressed at its fullest, so she began to mix music.

At the beginning of 2020, while doing an artist residency in Peru, during the lockdown period she found inspiration to take a serious focus on music. 
While at it, she created 20 Uñas. Luckily, she had brought along in her suitcase her Pioneer DDJ-SB, which was her salvation during quarantine times. She then began to play live at Radio Tecno/Deephouse Piura.

20 Uñas combines all kinds of sounds, from psychedelic Cumbia to lo-fi, future beats, Baile funk, Guaracha, Neo Perreo & reggaeton. She couldn't put her style, a mix of so many worlds, into simple words. As an artist, she likes to trespass limits. What matters is that while she plays, she's discovering herself. And we get to experience that.
