sup im Ethan Fields i was born in las vegas nevada and grew up in orlando florida, where i record music in my bedroom. when i was 16 i made my first EP Nandina, which is about coming of age.

Born in Connecticut and raised outside of Philadelphia, guitarist and composer Zach Fischer is a musician to watch on the Montreal jazz scene. Drawn to the guitar at an early age, Fischer has studied guitar with Ben Monder, Reinier Baas, Jesse van Ruller, Greg Clayton and Dave Manley, as well as improvisation in general with Gary Thomas, Pablo Held, Dick Oatts, Gregory Hutchinson, Anthony Tidd and Christine Jensen.
Fischer has performed with some of America and Canada’s finest jazz musicians, including Ambrose Akinmusire, John Hollenbeck, Kevin Dean, Erik Hove, Mike Rud, Jaleel Shaw and John Stowell among others. Zach holds a Bachelor’s degree in Jazz Performance at McGill University, where he received the Seymour Schulich Scholarship for Excellence in Music as well as the David Moyse Scholarship for Excellence in Guitar.
