Elena is a Berlin based DJ who enjoys mixing dance floor orientated techno and trance to build energetic atmospheres. Sharing feminist values and claiming space as a privileged european woman, she sees club culture as an important political tool to influence society.

In this mix u will find some of her current favs, an unreleased nugget of a friend and lots of high energy.

The Brvtalist is proud to present a new mix from Cryptofauna. Her sets showcase late 90’s to early 2000’s techno and beyond fused with psy influences, percussive goodness and well-textured sonic material with that extra touch of drive and groove. Expect candid dance floor abandon with a touch of sultry madness while Crypto is zoning out in the booth, putting her heart right in front of you, out on that floor. Recent and upcoming highlights include shows at Berghain/Panorama Bar, Tresor, Ohm and RSO in Berlin as well as Macadam in Nantes and POING in Rotterdam. Her sets have become some of our favorite as of late and we are ecstatic to host this spectacular mix from her today.

As the next guest on the Fast Forward Audio Series, we are excited to present: Mac Declos

Enrolled into the groove with a blues guitarist father and a singer/dancer mother, Mac bathes in the musical cosmos very young, dipped in a home of rhythm and choreography. He graduated in dance and pursued contemporary dance at the Centre Chorégraphique National of Roubaix. The versatile virtuoso also proved himself in hip hop dance battle but soon discovered the holy platines to practice his waltz. From hip hop to house music, there is one, two step : a controller has been bought, Mac Declos is born.

Eclectic, with an unpredictable hypersonic sound, intense yet precise, Mac Declos swings furiously between body and mental, hits high-paced without losing any groove: projected into a frenetic race, we are all invited to lose control during Mac’s kicky-bouncy techno sets.
Recently, Mac Declos dropped « Cuir en cage », his first 5-tracks EP on Myst. He also released his first 10-track LP on Mama Told Ya MTY-007 «Hard work always pays off».

About the mix:
"I recorded this podcast before New Year's Eve with a focus on exploring various genres, as I often do. The aim was to create a one-hour journey that reminds me of my last gigs or club experiences. Savor the journey."
