This curation of tracks proposes an interlude in the Olorun project. It returns to the acoustic sound of the early works while embracing the newer break-bass language. Rather than a retrospective or a preview, it unfolds as an interlude.

Here, instruments are both acoustic and digital, dry percussions meeting coded synthesis and numerical patterns. The music creates a tension between trance acoustic textures and algorithmic rhythm, like breath against computation.

Each track inhabits this in-between state. It traces the subtle passage from one form to another, from organic vibration to synthetic topology and reveals that these ideas are not separate, but part of the same evolution.

Welcome to No.ID Podcast Sessions. This episode features Valentina Rubiano a.k.a. VAL, a Colombian artist whose sound moves across techno, groove, hypnotic, mental, hardgroove, and tribal textures.

Her approach to this set is direct and physical, built around intensity, rhythm, and transformation. The energy flows through raw grooves and percussive elements, creating a space where control and release coexist, and where the body becomes part of the narrative.

If this mix were an object, it would take the form of a ritual indigenous mask — charged with presence and symbolism. Something that holds aggression, power, desire, and also a sense of inner balance, shifting constantly between tension and calm.

The sensory layer carries the essence of artemisia, an ancestral herb: bitter, slightly sweet, and deeply earthy. It reflects the character of the set — grounded, intense, and subtly immersive.

Emotionally, this session is driven by power, sensuality, and vitality, channeling a strong and confident energy that translates directly into movement.

The atmosphere unfolds within a dystopian landscape, where rhythm becomes a tool for transformation and the dancefloor turns into a space of resistance and expression.
