Zero Gravity

The second part of my score for Unearthed's forthcoming vision film "Groundswell."

I decided to switch it up a bit and use a mixture of IDM, Asian overtones and a host of synthetic and live orchestral instrumentation - all of which culminate in a series of hypnotic melodies that work in an upward or downward perpetuation...denoting collision and mixture - all the while building toward a crescendo.

All instruments derived from Specrasonic's "Omnisphere" instrument. Composed and mixed by Tony Anderson in Logic Pro.

Groundswell

My friend AJ and I co-authored the score for a film called "Love Costs Every Thing" in the Spring of 2011. The film is feature length documentary that takes a provocative look into the world of Christian persecution. Today, I realized I hadn't shared this track - and it was one of my favorites because of the unique tone it takes - the scene for this track takes place in a church that had just been bombed by Al-Quaeda in Baghdad the month prior - lots of spaced ambience, sorrow and tension in this one.

● "Forgotten at Sea" - extremely quiet and violently loud, slowly rising only to moments later bear down on the listener with a wall of distorted sounds.
