YL Bandz AKA L. Banner is an American Singer, BMI-Songwriter, Audio Engineer and Recording Artist.

During his youth, he performed at home mostly and at his family's church, The Shepherd's Heart Missionary Baptist Church located in Baltimore City, MD.  As he matured and began to solidify his music endeavors, he joined his High School Choir at the age of 14. 

L. Banner has performed at various churches, political events throughout the Washington, DC area. Some of his most notable performances were at The National Cathedral in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2010,  The National Community Church - 2007, in Washington, D.C & in Orlando Fest Choir Competition in 2006.

From 2010-2012, he released several tracks via the popular Social Media Website at the time Myspace under artist pseudonym "Superstarr Banna". His first Single #Work - In The Club Featured Washington, DC rapper DC Flyz.  In 2015, Banner released his first R&B single  - The Sounds of Love under his current artist name L. Banner. The song was released through his own label, Woodbrook Productions, formally known as Woodbrook Entertainment Corporation.  

Most recently he released "What They Want" on August 2019 to Digital Streaming Stores and What They Want Remix featuring BabyBlueWhoaaaa was released September 2019 through CrankEmUp Nation Records.

Currenlty, YL Bandz is working on his Next EP - Expected to be released April 2021 under his own label Wood Music.
