利用整張專輯的所有歌曲當作原始素材，重新取樣及拼貼，作為專輯的尾聲，是我一直很想嘗試的創作手法。這張專輯最後的曲目〈Entropy〉即是這個概念的產物，在製作上大量使用了取樣、拼貼、粒子合成器等電腦音樂技巧，對整張專輯進行解構與重組。

Midland always hits the sweet spots with his edits and this one is no different. After 30 seconds you're hit with those quintessential synths that vibrate and transform as the song progresses. 

The eloquent vocals are backed with meandering percussion and emotion-laced riffs. It's safe to say we're really feeling this one, check it.

It's been a minute since we heard from Swedish techno experimentalists SHXCXCHCXSH. With their last long player Linear S Decoded going down a storm in 2014, the duo return to Shifted's Avian imprint with a work to confuse and excite: SsSsSsSsSsSsSsSsSsSsSsSsSsSsSs (this is not a joke). Each track features trademark SHXCXCHCXSH elements which are all wedded to Avian's monochromatic aesthetic 'wrought with tension'.

Here, we present the ninth track “SsSsSsSsSsSsSsSsSs” – or nine "Ss"s if you like – which encapsulates this hyper tensile synthesis most impressively. What is coined most accurately as 'corrosive sound design', the track revolves around warped melodies, wrought iron percussion, white noise and buzzing static. There is what can only be described as an almost redemptive energy contained in “SsSsSsSsSsSsSsSsSs”, as well as SsSsSsSsSsSsSsSsSsSsSsSsSsSsSs' 14 other tracks. This opus sees SHXCXCHCXSH offering some of their most powerful and emotive work yet. The wait was worth it.

A few things:
1. I know I know, this guy's an asshole and has done a lot of shitty things in his life but I started this remix a while back and it's currently just serving as a placeholder for a different tune of the same nature. I just wanted to put something up today and so I thought I might clean up this project file, give it a quick master, and send it off.

2. It's an old remix from late 2017 and thus isn't to the standard I'd want, so ignore the lack of variation and shitty drums.
