I have owned two turntables and a mixer since 1991 and have a vast vinyl collection stretching back to the early 80's. My 1st dabble in producing got 
 me a release on Global Music Records with Audio Acid Ride .(Available now from Beatport itunes Amazon,Spotify ect).I have also been signed to Cadillac records with a new e.p available October 2017 and two singles due out on Record Union mid December 2017.
I was lucky enough to experience the early UK acid house and rave scene in warehouses, fields and big tops before the music split off into different genres. House music has always been the root for me but my musical taste is varied through the whole dance scene. 
My 1st professional dj gig was in the  early 90,s  and went on to Dj and promote my own nights at Club Woodside Welham Green called Cupid Stunts .
 In summer 1994 I was off to Malia Greece with my records and managed to get a gig in a bar on the back of a mixtape . That soon led into a set at Starlight Club in which I played every night while there , same thing in 1995 and 96. I then worked in Faliraki Rhodes full time as a Dj in all the bars, pools, beach parties and clubs in 1997 and 98. Two years of mayhem .
Back in London I was resident Dj for Spoilt For Choice an offshoot of garage and house  big boys Pure Silk for 3 years .
A long stint locally in bars and clubs in and around St Albans was the score for 2000 onwards .
 I now currently co promote and Dj at our own night called "Olds Cool" where we play the very best classics across all genres .

Frankie Foncett, is considered by many in dance music to be a pioneer and one of the most technically gifted Dj"s and Remixers of his generation. 

Having gained a stella reputation aged just 16 as part of the Rappattack Sound System in the mid 80s. 

Frankie would soon be one of the first dj"s in europe to bring the New York style of long overlaying of records to club sets. 
While working the EQ and using a Reel To Reel for custom edits. 
Equally able to blend electro,soul and club music,widely recognised as one of Europe’s first architects of house music.

In 1988 he became the 
Head buyer @ the seminal Black Market Records in Londons Soho.

In that position he helped set the pulse of the city"s taste. And is widely credited with forging a now legendary moment in Music. HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!! 

Frankie was instrumental in the revolution of club culture co founding and the creative force behind club night High On Hope. The first NY Style club night in Europe in 1989. Considered the template for changing the acid house craze to soulful deep house,no other night had more influence at this time. 

He has mixed or edited or A&R dozens of classic records. And one of the few dj in the world to played alongside golden era legends Jam Master Jay or icons like Larry Levan.  

During the 90"s Frankie held the position of resident dj @ The Ministry Of Sound. For 3 years on Saturday nights that was of of the most explosive places to hear new music. 

He was instrumental in breaking countless artistes and records during this period. Including Daft Punk among others. 

Between 95 & 98 Frankie set an incredible standard for other djs"s to follow in terms of working the Ministry"s main room. 

And though humble, it is a fact that this is still the most talked about period of the club.

He is now highly revered among his peers, and continues spin at special events worldwide.

Aries Bio :

Reggae and Jungle are genres of music with strong roots in the UK and Aries has immersed himself in both cultures which has heavily influenced his whole ethos to production and DJing. It is this integrity and dedication to the scene which has earned him respect amongst his peers meaning he now flies the flag internationally for modern day sound-system culture.

Aries’ sound combines vintage Jungle sensibilities with traditional Reggae music polished off with modern day production techniques. The finished product is his own Dubwise strain of the UK’s one true homegrown genre, Jungle.

He broke through to the A-list of the Jungle world after releasing music on legendary record labels: Congo Natty, Dread and V Recordings, plus Aries has recorded with a whole world of vocal talent that does by no means stop at Top Cat, David Boomah, Solo Banton, Nanci &amp; Phoebe, Demolition Man, Jah Mason and Johnny Osbourne. His DJing is in demand across the globe having played high profile DJ sets in most major countries.

Back in 1990, Aries launched himself onto Pirate Radio in his hometown of Birmingham where Reggae and underground Dance music were dominating the airwaves. This is where he learned his craft as a DJ. He then promoted himself to throwing parties and finally graduated to the recording studio where he has been creating music ever since.

Aries’ projects vary from his solo exports to collaborations with other producers from Gold Dubs and Kelvin 373 to the Chopstick Dubplate crew, which is the world’s first international Reggae Jungle sound crew which is fronted by himself, Jacky Murda and Tuffist. Recently, he has also been touching on other projects from Hip Hop to Dubstep which all tell an ode of his roots.

Within the reputedly closed doors of the Jungle Drum &amp; Bass world, true support is carried by your peers and it is they who validate your career. Aries has been met with open arms by figureheads of the scene. In the mainstream, Aries receives radio play from BBC’s Toddla T, Zane Lowe, Rob Da Bank and DJ Hype plus his Youtube views reach the millions. This is all from one of the most humble people you are likely to meet in the music business.

It is undoubtedly true that Aries will continue his ongoing plight to serve the world true grassroots Dubwise Jungle dubplates. Whether it be releasing his own music, collaborating on projects or running record labels, Aries will be pushing the sound that he loves.
