"New York-based Producer-Singer/Songwriter Ethan Johnson fuses jazz, pop and urban sounds with soulful vocals. A jazz guitarist by trade, he grew up in a household filled with music inspired by his father, jazz fusion guitarist Burr Johnson. He discovered the music software Ableton Live early in junior high school, releasing tracks under the alias Drop Science. He later collaborated with Sony DJ-Producer Frank Pierce to write “Highlife” that has collected over 6M views throughout various social media outlets. Ethan has been particularly inspired by sounds of Charlie Puth, Blackbear, and John Mayer. Currently, he is focusing on his solo career to birth a new sound while studying Music Production at SUNY Purchase."
