  Things are starting to heat up here in Naarm with the arrival of Spring and the end of the Lockdown so we at SPEED速度 wanted to help you kick things off with another banger from the Artist Invite Mixtape series. 
This weekend we’ve brought you this sonic journey from Naarm based DJ, 9999 Labs.

  Over the years, 9999 LABS has dabbled with various genres ranging from trance and house to electro, industrial and EBM. More recently he has been drawing inspiration from the current scenes around the globe, centring himself with varied selections of hypnotic techno grooves and fast breakbeats.  

When asked to put something together for the SPEED Mix series, they really did give us something special.

Geheimclub Podcast 061 - 9999 LABS

TEHOTU arrives in Berlin in 2015 and maintains his commitment to Underground by linking up with some of the Berlin night scene activists. Following a rave he organised for the famous 1st of May in 2017 in Berlin (Thousands of wild people in the streets of Kreuzberg) he starts a collectif called F5I and the raves called EXPOSURE taking place into a warehouse in the area of Jannowitzbrücke with view on the Spree. He starts as well a webradio called Droomface Radio with a concept of no promo, masked DJ in order not to influence listeners/viewers and mostly focus on what's important. Also Poducer and DJ, TEHOTU is interacting between passion and  his beloved Underground culture. The latter is, as a producer, creating dreamlike atmospheres into his timelesses tracks and also being spontaneous with a refine music. As a breathetaking performer, he's proving to every crowds in every single set how to combine story-telling with love, passion and a clear message. He's one of a kind that shares with the public and bring them to a real soul-searching about the essence of our acts. He's gonna guide you to a sweaty and euphoric situation.

WINTI DANSI 

WINTI is a spiritual belief which lives under the six ndyuka tribes in Surinam. The dancers prepared their bodies with herbs and are therefore able to dance through the fire. While doing the WINTI DANSI, it is possible for the dancer to go into a trance. The WINTI DANSI is only performed on special occasions. 

This mix is recorded with a closing state of mind. Powerful rhythmic tracks which connects me to my KRAKTI (Powerful) culture. Searching for a bit more edge while keeping consistent rhythms. A bit faster than the other NDYUKA podcasts but never fast for the sake of being fast. 

Just like a WINTI DANSI i love it when people not just hear the music but really feel it. To a point where you could close your eyes and connect with the smallest details without any effort.

My next guest on Yax Invites is dxrvo, a producer and DJ from Hannover, Germany.

He is a resident of Klub Pan Hannover and runs the label & event team @kollektivsynergie. There you can find a weekly podcast series with international DJs. There are also EPs and album releases. dxrvo describes his style as hypnotic, minimalist groovy techno. He likes to play fast. At the moment he also likes to mix in some hard groove and ghetto house.

You can find dxrvo tracks on labels like DifferentSound, SYXT, PRX Records, Beluga Tracks, Concrete Tbilisi and Syncopated Records. He has podcast for platforms such as: Polish Techno.logy, ZEMENT, Duplicity, Influenced Records, Adapter and many more.

For this edition of HYPNO sounds we are delighted to welcome another international to the roster. Hailing from Brazil, brace yourselves for an hour of cascading rhythms that show absolutely no mercy as it surgically weaves it's detailed groove in & out all while giving it's listeners no time to even think as the mixer quickly gears up their next track for immediate impact.

Inspired by the dirty rawness of old school techno and the hypnotic vibes of more contemporary tracks, he decided to pursue his newfound passion by DJing at small events in his hometown. Today, he is a producer, gaining renown through his own personal label NCLS as well as through releases on groove-focused techno labels such as Syxt Berlin, Drawner records, Malör Records, ESP Collective and Mutual Rytm. Played by techno DJs worldwide, their tracks can be found in mixes by notable artists such as Rødhåd, Ben Sims, Rene Wise and many others.

LYRIC joins for DifferentSound Podcast #151.

The deadly duo from Hannover, Lyza and Ericson, the Bonnie and Clyde of groovy techno, have firmly established themselves as a force to be reckoned with. The joint project is the lovechild of the two accomplished artists, focused on fast and driving, uplifting rhythms, using three decks to maximum effect. Both inspired by the groove, the two have had multiple successful releases, showcasing their vision, demonstrating time and time again their credibility for the dancefloor as well as their flaming passion for the craft.
