Marc South - Breakdown

Three years ago today was the starting point of my whole career as a producer. It's a long journey to get me here right at this point. One year ago today was also the day when I quit from my previous artist's name and vision and rebuild everything from the ground up. Thus, WIZZOKAMI came to life.

This Melodic Dubstep/Future Bass track is my entire journey simplified into a piece of music. Everything I experienced, every plan I wrote, it's all in here. The melody is based on my very first failed track, rearranged to match my current style of producing.

This is also my first track to implement traditional music instrument from my local culture, although it's still limited to one instrument. Just trying to be experimental here

Deeply Ingrained

"Super Hero" is a retro based "self talk anthem". The synthesizer emotes a feeling of determination and perseverance that is complimented by the "vintage sounding vocals". The lyrics talk about believing in one's own abilities and strengths, as this is the key to doing "heroic things" that one dreams of.

The structure is a beat crescendo that sees the beats layering up and then breaking down again.
