I'm a 24 year old singer/songwriter/producer/guitarist from Portland, OR. I'm heavily influenced by R&B, Hip hop, & Neo-soul. I've been performing my whole life beginning when I was a little girl when my mom got me started playing guitar. My grandnaynay taught me to play piano around the age of four. My mother kept me surrounded by art and music as a child and I learned how to paint, draw and make jewelry. When I listen to music, the most capturing factor to me besides the words is the beat. My father beatboxed around me all the time and eventually I learned how to do it myself. When I had the ability to create a beat, melody and lyrics, my possibilities seemed endless. I got a self recording kit from my dad, a midi controller from my mom, and connected it to my keyboard. That's when I started making beats and producing my own songs.
