"Ikigai" is a Japanese concept that basically means the reason of existing. In theory by following this 4 questions concept person will live a happy life. 
1. What do you love?
2. What the world needs?
3. What the world is ready to pay for?
4. What are you good at?
I tried to represent different sides of person life in sound desighn, which is why it sounds as an instrumental ethnic work, hinting to think about your priorities, what you love and how you want to live your life. Then it switching to industrial sounding hinting that not everything is a bright as expected, and sometimes you need just to focus to continue to move on. And some Pipa instrument symbolizing that at the end of day you will find the balance between what you want and what the world wants.

Following his remix for Max Cooper, Mattr’s next releases are two electronica / breaks tracks on his own imprint Loft & Sound. With these two records Mattr continues to build out his crafted approach to electronica with two intricately layered and textural records. A-break features syncopated melodies, heavy bass and melancholic pads. Corps fuses granular synthesis and found sounds with delicate instrumental flutters to create an atmospheric record.

This instrumental piece began as part of a joyful jam with XAW and SA, while XAW played electric guitar and Helix and SA played a series of handheld instruments: Greek double shepherd's flute, silver flute, penny whistle, boatswain's whistle, slide whistle, wooden recorder, Suling, crotales, triangle, cymbal. 

SA later added keyboard-percussion and produced.

An intense experimental ambient meditative journey through the self's interactions, patterns, emanations, illusions, masks, tricks, tests, wounds, continuities and discontinuities, surprises, empathies, and empty opens.
