The band’s sound deftly combines rock with elements of folk and alternative music, but their versatility allows them to bend the music to their own style. They understand how to create texture and mood in their songs, with Whitehouse’s sultry vocals taking the listener through a gamut of emotions and Dutton’s tasteful playing lending the music a distinct air of sophistication.

The individual personalities come together to create a diverse set of songs, each one with their own identity, telling tales from the mundane ritual of a cigarette break to the complex nature of personal relationships. The music comes from that lived-in experience, and they have the ability to lift those everyday, prosaic moments of life into a universal message.
