Native American Artist from the Midwest got two names creator and my ancestors know me and will be calling for me on the otherside “flying soldier” and “Big Star” my bigknife name is Joseph my last name Snowball which was originally “snow that sticks to his fur” changed so the government can better identify my family back in those times of change. My artist Name is an acronym “O.G.BAE” which stands for Original Before Anything Else or Original Before Anyone Else cause we been here before them all, honestly all my peoples that are NdN and I don’t call myself indigenous I be on that SAVAGE shit in all caps always all my people who identify me as they people too y’all are O.G.BAE to me too. I follow the Medicine Lodge ways and nothing else. I dislike how many of my brothers are incarcerated based on a system that’s still in play but they’ll never say, I’ll say it tho Fuxk da feds. My music is Diverse and RAW, influenced by my cousin from da big city who came down to my Rez one day and was the first time I saw a Indian boy like me can put his spiritual energy on wax. RIP 20TWIN. I’m just like y’all and I’m working on a better me every single moment that I live. I believe I’ll see all my loved ones who left when they come get me. I am a singer song writer playing with my beautiful musical partner C.A.Roloson. I’ve performed in many bars and stages through out the years on t.v. as well. I was born in Rochester N.Y. and moved to Canada in 1979 I started playing the guitar when I was around 8 years old just as a hobby. I never started to take it to seriously until the age of 25 I started to write songs soon after I have many many musical influences first and foremost is my mother who was the one who taught me some chord structures on the guitar. Growing up listening to old school country music later on getting into rock and blues.
