A cover of a brilliant song from the movie Begin Again, originally sung by Adam Levine. Recorded impromptu during a nostalgic night out with Shreyas & Ashish in the cold Delhi winter reminiscent of Pilani days. Seemed appropriate to release this as we Begin (a new year) Again. Warren Mendonsa's inimitable style stands out as a bright jewel in a world which seems to favour instant gratification, style over substance and brawn over brain. Wikipedia says this about Warren Mendonsa (paraphrased) - "Mendonsa is known for incorporating immaculate phrasing and abandoning flashy techniques, in favour of composing memorable melodies and playing with feel.". We feel this is an admirable goal - one that we can endorse and embrace whole-heartedly. It is with this goal in mind that we formed 2to10 and what better way to begin this endeavour than to give tribute, humble as it is, to the man who inspired it? This song is our tip of the metaphorical hat to Warren's genius.

An ode to an ode

2to10 is an initiative to keep the Music Club spirit alive. We spend 4-5 amazing years <more in certain special cases :)> in 2158. But afterwards, we go our separate ways. Some of us lose touch with playing/singing, usually because of lack of time or opportunity. Some of us stay in touch with music, form bands etc which is great; but the feeling of playing different styles of music, with different people, and the sense of belonging that comes with 21:58 (#2to10) is quite something! The aim of this recording project is to recreate that feeling.
