Hopeless is a roleshift AU inspired by the harsh aesthetic of Underfell. The harshness of the character's personalities altered the events following the human-monster conflict, leading to an underground riddled with disarray. That said, at their core everyone is still the classic characters you know and love, even if it's a little harder to see that than usual.

Yeah...I think it's pretty obvious why this didn't go on the main account.
It's a shame things turned out the way they did. We didn't really know about Keno's behavior back then, and how things would turn out for him. Don't meet your heroes, kids.
This was actually made in 2021 but the last few steps (mainly a thumbnail) were trapped in development hell, and next thing we knew it wasn't as cool an idea to upload it anymore. We were unsure about even uploading this one at all, but we figured that some hard work was put into it and it's a track people really wanted to hear, so I decided it could go on the second account with a disclaimer. Now no one can say this AU died without its precious Megalo.

So yeah, each shopkeeper in 3WS gets their own theme, all under the blanket name "Friendly Exchange." Usually the theme is named after the location, but the Theta Tailor is a unique shopkeeper that shows up in multiple places, and his theme follows him around wherever he goes. Wasn't intending for this to be the first shop theme done, but here it is. The one for Snowdin (or at least one of them) should be up fairly soon, just waiting on the art to be finished.
