Gobi Desert Collective’s remix of Azadi by Dan Bay is a finely crafted journey through deep, hypnotic grooves and immersive soundscapes. 

Built on a warm, rolling bassline and meticulously placed percussion, the track balances rhythmic drive with atmospheric depth. A recurring, mantra-like synth motif weaves through spacious reverb and airy pads, creating an evolving emotional core. The arrangement unfolds patiently, with breakdowns that strip the groove to its essence before rebuilding layer by layer. 

Subtle automation, textured delays, and detailed stereo placement give the production both clarity and richness. Each element feels intentional, from the understated kick to the shimmering highs, resulting in a sound that’s club-ready yet cinematic. By respecting the soul of the original while infusing it with their signature touch, Gobi Desert Collective delivers a remix that’s as compelling on a late-night dancefloor as in an intimate setting.

Das Sample am Anfang von Nataraja erzählt vom Meer des Bewusstseins, auf dessen Oberfläche Gefühle und Gedanken wogen, während darunter eine tiefe Ruhe liegt. Ein treffendes Bild für diesen pulsierenden, mit Acid-Schleifen und esoterischem Singsang gespickten Track, unter dessen Rumms der Seelenfrieden fließt. Mantra schickt uns mit Saiten-Instrumenten, Flöten, Field Recordings, rituellem Obertongesang und hypnotischer Beat-Programmierung auf eine erdende, nach Räucherstäbchen duftende Groove-Meditation. Eyama vervollständigt die Trips EP als entspannter Stampfer, der seine Zugkraft einem schlauen Mix aus weltmusikalischer Instrumentierung, Gesang und Elektronik verdankt.
