The mastermind behind an extensive catalogue of chart-topping hits for the likes of Colombia, Island Records, Ultra, SPINNIN' and Tomorrowland Music (to name just a few) British songwriter, producer and vocalist Shift K3Y ( @shift-key ) is has become one of our favourite artists since first debuting on Selected. with ‘Feel Your Body’ back in 2022. Having worked alongside some of the industry’s biggest heavyweights over the course of his career — writing and producing singles for the likes of Stormzy, Craig David, Bugsy Malone and Becky Hill, Tinie Tempah, Zara Larson and Jess Glynne — the UK talent now returns to our label for his latest original offering ‘In Your Arms'.

Taking inspiration from house and garage to pop, R&B and everything in between, Shift K3y’s latest cut offers up a sizzling slice of two-step house music that perfectly showcases the Brit’s impressive production credentials and songwriting skills. We are right back into the thick of it on 3000 Bass with this monstrous brand new drop from Rhiannon Roze & Swalenz, who take us back to the early days of UK Bass with a blistering original. Taking the title ‘Make A Move’, we are in for an absolute treat with this one.

Through a combination of blistering synthesiser distortion and system-crunching drum combos, we see the pair deliver a rave-ready weapon, topped off with those super recognisable overlays that add that extra 20% spice mix to the recipe. This one is going to cause carnage and we can’t wait to see it.

As ever, the team at 3000 Bass have been mining away at the caverns of UK Garage to bring you the latest new flavour, and we sure have a tasty for you with this latest care package. Nestling nicely between the bass & garage spaces, it’s a pleasure to welcome Little Tools to the platform with some serious heat.

Taking the title ‘Lift Your Hands’, this one will deliver what is says on the tin as we are greeted by an emotive, almost house-like introduction. This soon descends into carnage as a cacophony of raucous synth stutters and bass booms align tidily over skippy drum drops and charming vocal chops, giving this one A-Grade weapons status.

Next up from the team here at 3000 Bass, a furious new pairing that arrives dripping in original bassline energy and forward thinking production approaches as Confront touches down in serious style. At 3000 Bass, we love nothing more than seeing artists move the needle, and it feels like this new two track display is a great example of that in action.

First up, ‘Push’ lands with a gnarly combination of sizzling, gritty bass designs, linking up nicely with bouncing 4x4 drums and dizzying pad shimmers, unveiling a perfect concoction. On the flip, ‘Bohemian Groove’ opens up with a more, let’s say traditional set of rhythmic values, which also then descends into haunting vocal melodies and euphoric pad overlays, making this a well balanced two tracker we can all enjoy.

We continue our deep dive into the darker corners of the UK Bass sound with this latest drop from Prayer Handz, who unleashes a beautifully emotive original, perfectly encapsulating the essence of what 3000 Bass is all about through rich layers of atmosphere and subtle rhythmic design.

From the jump ‘Needed U’ is engulfed by hazy pads and smooth synth textures that gradually build momentum, leading to a drum drop wash packed with crisp percussion and warm sub pressure. That soulful vocal then provides the final dash of seasoning, rendering this as a track that embodies the sonic we love. We can’t wait to bring it into the world!
