To follow on from a momentous 2022, Aaron Jackson is once again back at it among the 3000 Deep ranks, delivering a sizzling selection to kickstart the spring in style, unleashing a vibrant display of official remixes, alongside a weighty new single. As an original creation, ‘Giving Up’ tows the line perfectly between future techno and gnarly bass music, fusing subtle reeses with catchy vocal leads from start to finish.

We are then introduced firstly to GiddiBangBang’s rethink, a low ended thumper, jam packed with bulbous bass line energy, followed by the groovy moog sweeps and eerie atmospheric melodies of Bass Odysseys overhaul, next to the more clubland-inspired euphoria of Footwurk's jive-ridden overhaul. Finally, GECHA unleashes a monster of a UK Bass remix to round things off fusing angelic synthesis with lethal bass-driven leads for a fiery finale.

Maurizio Belladonna’s “Sevnty EP” on Datura Records blends the Italian House legend’s signature 90s flair with fresh reworks from rising talents. The original track embodies Belladonna’s classic sound – warm, driving basslines, hypnotic rhythms, and nostalgic synth touches – while the remixes offer modern reinterpretations. Alongside Alben & LAJE’s contribution, Manu Barcelo (SXDNS344) steps in with a remix that contrasts Belladonna’s veteran craftsmanship with her own contemporary vision.

As a member of House Music’s new generation, Manu Barcelo reimagines the title track with a cleaner, faster-paced approach. Her version retains the original’s key elements – the infectious groove and 90s-inspired vibe – but refines the mix with tighter percussion and a more polished low end. The result bridges eras, proving that Belladonna’s timeless sound can adapt to today’s dance floors without losing its soul. Barcelo’s remix stands as a testament to her ability to honour the past while pushing the genre forward.

Hot on the heels of their incredible release - Don't Look Back, featuring Beckii Power - Sweet LA are back with yet another legendary collaboration. The South coast duo have enlisted producing talent Michael Murica for this summertime smash, Wrong, with home-grown singer/songwriter Jolene on vocal duties. 

An addictive combination of playful beats and ethereal, synth based hooks, the producers' original cut is a truly stunning production, with Jolene's sultry, soulful tones working perfectly with the melodies.

Onto the remixes, and first up we bring you man of the moment Rich Pinder, fresh from his Traxsource number one. Pinder absolutely smashes it with a ground shaking beat from the offset, and succeeds in giving the track an injection of peak-time energy, whilst still preserving Jolene's impeccable sound.

Electrik Cat rounds things off, with a tech-house take on the chilled original. Like Rich Pinder, the London born producer picks up the ante, adding a main-room beat and looping Jolene’s raspier, powerhouse top-lines to create this tougher, club-ready sound.
