𝗟𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲’s "Trust The Process" is a five track album that wears its 80s and 90s love on its sleeve while looking ahead. The duo, Gautier on production and Amalia on vocals, bring a hybrid approach that blends retro house textures with a live feel performance.

Our premiere today is "Pastel Tropical", a track that opens with a rounded low pulse and sunlit pads that immediately sets a warm, summery mood. The deep powerful rhythmic foundation and bright, slightly filtered synth chords give it a balmy, beach club feeling, while little melodic details and Amalia's vocals keep the ear engaged. Delayed micro motifs and shimmering high textures add space and movement, turning the cut into something both nostalgic and fresh. Elegant and very danceable, "Pastel Tropical" sits perfectly between late day lounge and peak time warmth.

A thoroughbred trio of dedicated Cornish idiots have been quietly paving the musical way for their stalwart countryside kinsmen. Like the blind leading the blind the Freerange Djs have embarked on a chaotic adventure that is slowly leading to what must be one of the music industries most unorganised rises to fame on record. That said, their unorthodox methods have picked them up some noteworthy accolades along the way including 2 Mixmag ‘Tune Of The Month’s, releases on prestigious labels such as Skint Records and 470 real Twitter followers. The Freerange Djs have won lots of awards that are not really worth mentioning and narrowly missed out on some good ones too. With remix work for the mighty Stanton Warriors set for release imminently as well as a delightful summer festival season booked in including their favorites Glastonbury and Boomtown Fair, its looking like these modest idiots could be sailing the good ship Breakbeat at full speed towards some very prosperous rocks in the not too distant future……

Today we have the pleasure of presenting to you a great exclusive mix from fellow Londoner Vanilla Ace.

2016 highlights included the dharkfunkh collaboration ‘That’s The Jam’ released on seminal US imprint Nervous, ‘Night Steppin EP on Bunny Tiger and ‘Love Dance feat’ Kellie Love’, an infectiously uplifting house cut on Amine Edge & Dance’s CUFF Recordings. However the crowing achievement of 2016 was ‘The Gee’. Built around an instantly recognizable sax sample, the track shot to the top of the Beatport chart and stayed there for weeks and picking up support from an array of club and radio DJs.
 
2017 continues in similarly impressive fashion, with releases on Toolroom, Spinnin’ Deep and Glasgow Underground already in the bag, plus remixes on Skrillex’s OWSLA imprint and his take on Soul Sonic Force’s ‘Planet Rock’, forthcoming on Atlantic Records.
 
Touring globally, Vanilla Ace has previously performed in North and South America, Australia, South Africa and India, with bookings including HARD Summer festival in LA, Holy Ship in Miami, Green Valley in Brazil, Ministry of Sound and Egg in London and Chinese Laundry in Sydney, Australia playing alongside the likes of Amine Edge & Dance, Shiba San, Patrick Topping, Low Steppa, Roger Sanchez and Breach.

As ever with 3000 Deep, we look to bring you the silkiest, smoothest 4x4 heat, here supplied to us by Stund, a producer who is gaining quite the reputation for his high quality original creations.
He here lays down the gauntlet with 4 potent original peaches, kicking off with the minimal drum shuffles and subby atmospheric tonality of the title track ‘All Night’. We then hear the more electronic flutters of ‘Bust It Down’, followed by the smooth bass warblings of ‘Elevate’, before finishing up with the moogy synth leads of ‘What You Want’ to round of a very tasty project
indeed.
We can’t wait to hear what Stund has lined up for the rest of the year and the rapidly approaching 2020.
