It's an honor to welcome Amsterdam's Loek Frey to our series, whose meticulous attention to detail and eminent experimentalism command the mind's attention like no other. The OQAD label head and Omen Wapta collaborator invites us to peer delicately beyond the edge, unveiling a hyperintense, subsonic blur through which a primordial palette begins to emerge. I've been looking forward to sharing this episode for quite some time, and to revel in this blend of artistry and precision was truly worth the wait. Thanks Loek!

With every Full Moon I will present a new artist which I highly admire, respect and who embodies and understands the dark, ambient and hypnotic side of techno.⁠

The Full Moon is a time of blossom and highlights.⁠
The Full Moon equals the spiritual and energetic culmination.⁠
⁠
When the Full Moon has passed, the Waning Moon phase begins.⁠ This is the time to let go what no longer serves you.⁠
⁠
This week we had a Full Moon in Aries, also going by the 'Hunters Moon'.
⁠
Aries is the first sign of the zodiac. It is the fire starter of all the zodiac signs. This enthusiastic, impulsive fire sign does not think too long before making choices. Once it has set its sights on something, it goes for it. Aries is guided by needs and impulses. This sign is courageous and has no time to think about whether it can do something or whether something is possible.

Opposite the Full Moon, the sun is in the sign of Libra. This creates tension—and what tension it is. Whereas Aries charges toward its goal without looking back, Libra is thoughtful. 

Because Aries represents yourself and Libra represents the other person, this is the area where challenges arise in the days around the Full Moon. Libra focuses on your relationship(s), but Aries also focuses on your own role in them. How do you honor your own needs, desires, and opinions in relation to others? Are you inclined to impose your vision, or are you the one who compromises (too much)?

KHMGNFF aka Barbara Khamouguinoff is a french born and brilliant Berlin based musician, artistic director of the labels Micromod and Microrama, also involved in many other projects. We had the honour of her presence at our latest Club NumiQ Party and we are glad of releasing this part of her set as our newest In Situ Podcast! One last mix to end the year. When Svreca sent me this set, he could not have known what it would mean to me. I have spent so much time looking back lately, reliving old discussions and re-imagining moments passed, often lamenting how much was lost along the way. In just under three hours this mix communicates the flow of years. An archived recording from a special memory, it reminds me that the passage of time is beautiful even in what it fades away. Listening to it, I become lost completely, as though I am everywhere at once.

Thank you to everyone who listened this year, who sent warm messages and left comments, who supported us and kept us feeling connected. Thank you to the artists who continue to give their time and trust to the podcast and label, and keep us moving forward.
