Jason Richardson is a Leeton based musician and poet who’s collaborated with Naviar many times over the last few years: in 2014 his music was part of the sound installation we made for the State of Origin exhibition in London. In 2017, Jason and I curated together the exhibition Crossing Streams in Narrandera. In 2021, I interviewed Jason as part of our series of online events, Naviar Virtual. Enigma Story

Curve of time -
a thought takes flight,
scent of a rose.

Vincenzo, aka El Wud, is an electronic musician from Naples, Italy.

A regular participant in our haiku music challenge, El Wud uses sound overlaps, causal collisions and cosmic echoes to create evocative soundscapes.

I translated Vincenzo's haiku from Italian, and made some minor variations. I hope you'll find it inspiring.

I used a combination of the probabilistic generative instrument Ongaku from Giorgio Sancristoforo; https://www.giorgiosancristoforo.net Ongaku is just over half way down the page. And Voltage Modular from Cherry Audio: https://cherryaudio.com/products/voltage-modular I experimented with running Voltage as a plugin which allowed me to run it in parallel with Ongaku and make a single "Live" performance, the downside to this was that I couldn't assign physical controls, all mouse and window flipping.

The bell samples used at the beginning and which reappear later processed through granular synthesis and multiple delays are my own recordings.
