Born as Kagiso Lucas Rapula Elias in the city of Gaborone and Raised in Selebi Phikwe, a mining town known to most as 'Smoke Town' or rather 'Ghost Town' after a long closure of the town's mine that kept its residents up and fed, Lucas Chubbs properly started his musical journey fresh off the age 21. He's been a heavy listener to music and was a dancer for the most part of his childhood until he got into poetry and song writing at the age of 18.Lucas's love for music is mainly inspired by old school and morden R&B artists like the iconic superstar Chris Brown,6lack, Brent Faiyaz, Bryson Tiller,Jorja Smith,Summer Walker,Khalid ,Adele,Beyonce and so on. New to the scene scene, Chubbs has fell in love with contemporary R&B mixing rhythm and blues with alternative sounds, hip hop and rap and other genres of music His hip hop snd rap side is mostly influenced by artists like Kendrick Lamar, J Cole, XXXtentacion, Big Sean, OutKast, Kanye West, Kota The Friend, Nasty C, Shane Eagle and A-Reece, not forgetting his peers in his area code who inspire him greatly.
