Live and contagious, this collection of latest tunes has a nice balance between dance floor functionality and Slavaki's now familiar atmospheric, natural, and soulful element. He never felt like he truly belonged. “When I grew up as a kid, part of me felt like I needed to shed some of that. I didn’t feel like I fit in, I definitely felt like the outsider. As I got older I realized just how beautiful my heritage and my tradition is, the wealth of culture, magic, music, film, and just pure art that comes out of the Middle East.” 

This is an excerpt of Rami Malek’s backstage 2019 Oscar speech - I recommend you watch it if you haven’t yet. While I can relate to that personally, I take it a step further to include Arab and Mediterranean countries as a whole on one hand, and each of it’s own having a wealth of culture and distinct magic on the other.
