If all of us acted in unison as I act individually there would be no wars and no poverty. I have made myself personally responsible for the fate of every human being who has come my way.

The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.

I don’t look to a man to get pride in myself. It’s not about having a black president, it’s about having a good president, and I think that’s the most important thing.

By not caring too much about what people think, I’m able to think for myself and propagate ideas which are very often unpopular. And I succeed.

I’ve never looked at myself and said that I need to be a certain way to be around a certain sort of people. I’ve always wanted to stay true to myself, and I’ve managed to do that. People have to accept that.

When did I realize I was God? Well, I was praying and I suddenly realized I was talking to myself.

I’m vaguely embarrassed by myself sometimes.

I don’t call myself a Buddhist. I’m a free spirit. I believe I’m here on earth to admire and enjoy it; that’s my religion.
