Among many crazy and funny things I said (and did) this summer, one sentence glued to my mind: 

LIFE IS A WONDERFUL THING TO WASTE! 

I meant this in a sense of "how much of ourselves are we willingly suffocating to maintain the image THEY have imposed on us so that we can develop, progress and move freely?" Life's too short to maintain that image. Live your life the way you want. Your life is only yours, and if it makes you happy to "waste it", well it's yours to waste!

* Music genre of the mix:

After five or six years I played (almost only) a deep techno set at The Swamp, Mo:Dem Festival. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did.

In my process of overthinking I labeled my style of (writing and) DJ-ing as BRICOLAGE /ˌbrɪkəˈlɑːʒ/. In the arts, bricolage (French for DIY or do-it-yourself) is "the construction or creation of a work from a diverse range of things that happen to be available, or a work constructed using mixed media." This definition fully and realistically corresponds to what I'm creating, whether it is a text or a DJ set. This definition also fits my punk philosophy and aesthetics.

Semilocybe is the electronic music project by Tim Heil. His sound ranges from groovy Psytech to Darkprog & Deep Zenonesque, constantly being carried by lush soundscapes and intricate grooves.
Whilst currently located in Germany, the project originally was born in the bushes of Australia back in 2018.
In 2021 Semilocybe became a representative DJ for the Australian label "Universal Tribe Records", where he also just had his first release.
As of now there are many more projects about to be released, with some still coming out this year at Universal Tribe Records.

04 Extraterrestric Legacy

It was pleasure and big honor to take part in this edition of one of the most epic and coolest fests out there. 
And sadly it was the last was last edition - and in my opinion THE BEST ONE !! Had amazing time there and i will keep these memories deep in my heart :) 
And here is a live record of my performance at Groove floor from saturday night. There are some super freshies in this set that i was working on lately, but also some older stuff.
