Sound Avenue opens the month of February by showcasing new interpretations of Madloch and Subnode's 'Journey to the Unknown'. Released in October of last year, the track's subdued pulse and smoky resonance anchored the double a-side release and now sits as a highlight in the duo's discography. Supported by deep, organic and progressive house DJs alike, Sound Avenue now looks to bring new life to the track by inviting Haen, Circulation and Gux Jimenez to re-imagine it for 2023's winter season.

Also making his label debut and providing the second interpretation of 'Journey to the Unknown' is Circulation. With a career that spans well over two decades, Circulation is one of electronic music's most storied production acts. Operating as a duo initially, the British production team were perhaps best known for their iconic series of colour-related dancefloor bangers which earned play and support from electronic luminaries John Digweed, Laurent Garnier and Sasha. Inactive for close to twenty years following their final release in the mid-2000's, founding member Paul Davis revitalized the moniker in 2021 with a series of John Digweed supported releases via his new Recirculate imprint. Now, following a four-track showcase via Bedrock Records, Circulation makes his Sound Avenue debut with a gorgeous take on 'Journey to the Unknown'. Rather than burst into a dancefloor whirlwind or electronic symphony, Circulation's remodel evokes its emotions through slow burn repetition, dodging expectations and emphasizing its conceptual charm, painting dystopian scenes of solitude along the journey; while floor-shaking grooves, hypnagogic effects and retro drum fills unveil a semi-conscious dreamland, before Circulation's experimental attitude reveals itself during a second act of mesmerizing harmonic progression.

As the owner of Pro-ject and It's Just A Disco, Jay brings with him a wealth of experience and expertise to the label, having also played as a resident DJ for Intercontinental Hotels, Ministry Of Sound and Formula 1 events.

Jay has been signed to some of the most prestigious labels in the industry, including Krafted Records, Viva Music, 43 Degrees, Resonance, Kittball, and Great Stuff, among many others. Now, Jay is making his debut on 3rd Avenue with his highly-anticipated 3-track EP, "Cloud 9", featuring the tracks "Heather" and "Katara". Madloch's Sound Avenue imprint rounds out the month of March by showcasing new interpretations of 'Forest Beast' by Christina Gavrilova aka Forty Cats. The Moscow resident has enjoyed a rapid ascent in the landscape of progressive music, having forged a distinctive sonic identity, resulting in a string of uniquely crafted records that present a resonant worldly sound. Landing in July of 2022, 'Forest Beast' found the beloved Russian artist crafting one of her deepest and most engaging tracks to date. On the strength of remixes from Berni Turletti and Weird Sounding Dude, the release earned play and support from Armen Miran, Eelke Kleijn, Mind Against, Nick Warren, Quivver and more. With two of the versions still holding a place in Christina's Beatport best sellers, Sound Avenue now invites Paul Deep, Ric Niels and Nau Squaglia to re-imagine the track for 2023's impending spring season.
