Madloch's 3rd Avenue proudly presents Impulse Control, the label debut from Sri Lankan producer Maithree. After first appearing on our Future Avenue Spring Sampler 2025, followed by a full EP on Future Avenue and a recent feature on Balkan Connection, Maithree now steps onto 3rd Avenue with a deep and melodic original that shows his evolving sound and refined production approach.

The release is completed by three fresh reworks from Shamika, Paul Boychev, and Vote for Pedro, each offering a distinctive perspective, from hypnotic and atmospheric to more driving and groove-focused.

M3SIA is an underground music producer based in Bahrain, originally hailing from Sri Lanka.  I’m passionate about crafting electronic music, particularly in genres like progressive house, organic house and melodic techno.

Maithree is an emerging force in the Progressive and Organic House music scenes, drawing inspiration from major artists in the genre to craft his own unique blend of grooves and melodies.

As a rising producer, Maithree has spent years experimenting with various genres before landing in the Progressive House space. His sound now centers on a diverse range of storytelling, from deep, hard-hitting grooves to uplifting melodies, all designed to take listeners on a journey through atmospheric soundscapes—with the occasional ‘Stank Face’ thrown in. With several releases under his belt, including an EP and tracks on labels like Future Avenue and Balkan Connection, Maithree’s "presidential" approach to music is sure to turn heads.

Maithree made his debut as a live performer with Stereo Culture and has quickly proven himself behind the decks, delivering powerful, floor-shaking sets that blend euphoric sounds into immersive musical journeys. Known for his love of local talent, he often brings his ‘trademark’ bootlegs to his live shows, showing support for fellow artists in the Sri Lankan music scene.

From sinking three-pointers on the basketball court to dropping bangers on the dancefloor, Maithree continues to push forward, making waves as both a producer and performer, and contributing to the growth of Sri Lanka's electronic music scene.
