Aiyn Zahev Sounds presents Transitions Vol.2 , my second bank for the brilliant U-he Diva synth.

I was very honored when my first Transitions bank found favour with The Thrillseekers, along with many other artists.

I had planned on a new bank for Diva for a long time, I was really pleased to see Uhe announce the JP-8000 & Uhbie modules. I really strove to deliver some awesome patches in this bank, check out the free patches to get a taste: http://www.aiynzahev-sounds.com/free/

This bank consists of 150 presets Inspired by classic progressive house and trance analog sounds and have been crafted to sit in the mix and offer instant inspirational ideas for new songs. 

Diva still remains one of the most analog sounding soft-synths around, but now includes classic digital oscillators with supersaw and feedback OSC.  I have made extensive use of Diva's newest modules, from the ripping supersaw oscillators to the buttery smooth "uhbie" filter emulation.

All presets are have been formulated around a simple principle: Inspiring, musical, usable and among the kinds of sounds you can expect are Haunting, filmscore-like pads and atmospheres, raw basses that go deep, 80's pop and trance style basses, a variety of sequences and huge supersaw leads and plucks.

M83 - Wait (Kygo Remix) [Free Download]

This is a good one: I was looking for a wordlist file on the TOR network  an accidentally run into a site that had nothing except an drawn image of the classic Gotye video we all are all familiar with and two ".ogg" files: The "single" version and then a link to and extended one. 

I was blown away by the mix. Shazam could not find a match for neither. I went on YouTube and looked around and two things became clear to me: None were these version and all them, including Tiesto's, suck by comparison to this one.

So not wanting to let these two little  treasures disappear, I converted them to Mp3, made the artwork for both tracks (want to try out "low poly " technique). and uploaded them. 

If anyone has ANY idea who made these tracks or their source, please do let me know to change the info.

Beatitude means supreme blessedness. To me, this attitude was best exemplified by those rebellious cats of the 40’s, 50’s and 60’s — the Beat Generation. Their words and stories spread and touched the world because they were, above all else, real. They were searching for truth, laughter, and identity, all the while carving worlds in words and inspiring the world to live a more free, and honest, lifestyle. Through their work, I came to find much of my own truth, and found their words and ideas still resonate today. I see their spirit coming through the people and places around me - a force calling us to connect, create, and consider. With this project, I attempted to refresh and modernize their pieces via sound. Each song on this record represents a vibe, a passage, a message, or a feeling I walked away with after reading a book, poem or note.

I hope you find some time to check out some of the work by the Beats - I promise it’s worth it. For this project I scoped pieces by Jack Kerouac, Allen Ginsberg, Gregory Corso and Lawrence Ferlinghetti.
