3rd Street Down is the latest project from singer/songwriter/guitarist Austin Willis. Fusing an Old-School passion for Blues/R&B with a bold rock outfit driven by a 3-piece rhythm section featuring Kendall Johnson (Drums), Logan Berg (Bass) and Jake Denny (Guitar). Auxillary Collaborators include keyboardist DiMari Fennell and saxophonist Jacob Labertew. Their debut studio EP, with producer Ian Sheridan, is scheduled for a 2020 release.

Crafting the Live Act is essential to the ethos of 3rd Street Down. The group performs all across the state of Illinois, having played the State Fair, the Castle Theatre, and winning Battle of the Bands competitions in Tinley Park and Manito.
