All usual nerdy silliness aside, this song is still tough for me to listen to. I wrote this the year my father passed away from a heart attack.

I was 15 years old, and created a depth of music and art as an outlet for the pain, but this song was the first. I remember playing this over and over once I finished writing it, on my back on my bed, and my little dachshund Stimpy next to me. I'm still very proud of it, even though it's low-fi.

"It's A Good Idea" - Dr. D's first single!

This is by far the most fun I've ever had making a song!! I am so in love with this track... can't. handle. it. I have definitely danced to this while washing the dishes on a few occasions. :)

When Sizigi-13 sent me the stems my mind immediately went to a sexy throwback of a grungy Britney Spears coupled with some Jeffree Starr influence, and thanks to the creative gods, out of the ether "Sticky" was born. This began as a song we thought would just be another to add to the repertoire, thus the less-than-poetic lyrics I created for it, haha, but it quickly grew into something that I am now more proud of than any other song I've written, thanks to Sizigi's magic touches. 

I guess sometimes you've got to be shallow to be deep. (wasn't that so deep?!) hehe

Think of me

Rough recording testing out my new Spire from Izotope! I'll be re-recording for the final version.

This song is about my experience working through, and healing from, a traumatic childhood - which is why I got choked up at the end. It's hard for me to sing without getting emotional.
