Galatea was started around the time I finished Void Dance and I have returned to it periodically since. I always thought it had potential, but struggled to finish it. I made a breakthrough with it earlier this year and even throughout the revisions, I wanted to retain as much of the original vibe as possible. It represents a great era for me and I didn't want to destroy this by gutting it completely. As of today, I finally consider it finished. It's a tune close to my heart and I hope you all like it.

And so we enter the final month of the Audio Diary. I don't know about you, but the last year has absolutely flown by. It felt like only yesterday when I started the project. It's been really satisfying to watch the series grow organically from beginning to end. I'd be lying if I said I'm not feeling a bit burnt out by the work schedule, but I'm also really glad I did it. Some of the tracks from this series are now personal favourites among my entire discography. The pure ambient tunes on Ego Death will be released on vinyl tomorrow (many of you should already have your copies already!) and I think a vinyl compilation of the best tracks from the series definitely needs to be considered. We'll see what the future has in store...

Anyway, 12 months and 31 tracks later, we now arrive at Minerva. This is another track I've been working on sporadically over the last few months and here at the end, it felt like the right time to finally publish it. I hope you've enjoyed listening to the tunes as much as I've enjoyed making them!
