Missed The Time

"Means of Knowing" is an exchange with the world, an effort to know it and ourselves more deeply. Like a long walk on a favorite path and the introspection and observation that such a journey inspires, it is an album full of constantly evolving interplay between natural and imagined sound sources. Tactile sounds from the physical world combine with textured, processed synthesis to evoke the depth of experience available to us every day.

"On the melodic, minimal synth tip for this one. Once again, this track went through multiple revisions before finally finding the sound I was going for. It was originally more complex than this, with far more instruments used, but as I've often found with my music, the best things happen when I strip away the fat and concentrate on what I feel is the core aspect of the arrangement (usually the melody, which takes control in this tune). Hope you dig it."
