Retro Rave Recordings is an outlet for new music made with the old skool vibe. 

We aim to release tunes today that not only would of been killers back in the day, but also still 'hold their own' today.

We would also particularly like to release tunes that stand for the original vibe but include modern techniques and sounds that just weren't around back then.

Although a newcomer to the Drum & Bass scene, Droppa has been DJ'ing in clubs across the north of the UK since 2005, originally starting out mixing Hardcore and Makina under the alias Firthy.

Heavy influences by artists on the Drum & Bass circuit introduced Droppa to the scene back in 2006, and from attending events, hearing the sound and buying the records, it was inevitable that Droppa would eventually turn his hand firmly to mixing Drum & Bass.

Keep your eyes and ears peeled for future bookings, studio mixes, radio shows and productions from the DJ Droppa as there is a lot to come, you won’t be disappointed.

Started DJ-ing when i was 13, at this age i was playing drum and bass. At 14 i got into music production and started making my own drum and bass music. Now at the age of 16 I have played before well known DJ's such as Breeze, Ultrabeat, Topgroove and Skegster! Now at the age of 16 i am playing the harder styles such as Hardstyle, Hard Trance etc. I am a resident DJ on www.redroadmusic.com and play all types of dance music including guest mixes from DJ's who have sent me download links to their mixes.

My name is Thumpa and I've been DJ'ing since 1996. 'Mantek' Bristol based DJ / Producer has been mixing vinyl & Cds since the age of 15, mostly DNB & Jungle and now he has broadened horizons by also mixing Bassline , Garage , Raggatek & 4x4. He started off mixing at free parties & Squats and also been involved in events through record label promoters and sound system promoters. He plays in various clubs and venues around the U.K but is based mostly in Bristol and the South west. He has supported the likes of - Insideinfo, Randall, Bladerunner,  Ulterior Motive,  JFB, Remarc, Kenny Ken, Aries, Deadbeat, Mandidextrous, Thorpey, Jinx, Kelvin 373, J-MAN, Sharpz. & Stivs,  this gave him the opertunity to play at some of the biggest venues and festivals in the U.K underground scene  For example,  Boomtown, Illusive , Symmetry, Shambala,  Elements, St.pauls carnival & many more.
