Apart from the numerous solo appearances holding the residency every friday & saturday night,he was
privileged to perform on the first and official "Ministry Of Sound" and "Hed Kandi" events in the country.
 
He started his career back in 2005,mostly oriented to the disco,funky and tech house sound,playing in the most
popular state club at that time "Secondo Porto",and later becoming the resident of "Maximus",the newly opened amazing
club located in the same city.Regularly performing almost every weekend in this club,and supporting superstar guest djs like
David Morales,Bob Sinclar,Martin Solveig,Arno Cost,Dennis Ferrer,Tom Novy,Prok & Fitch,The Shapeshifters and many others with 
his warm up sets showed big quality and maturity when it comes about house music.

Not only important clubs around the region,"Revelin","Magacin","Hot Mess","Freestyler" just to name a few
but also big music festivals like REFRESH FESTIVAL,SEA DANCE FESTIVAL,SPRING BREAK FESTIVAL,
DU-EL FEST were places where he could demonstrate his value once more.

He began his career in the TEMPLO DJ  formed with a great teacher and friend Leonardo Roa who guided him throughout his journey to become a DJ / Producer professionally since eight years ago, where he has been adapting to the new styles and musical trends of the moment, giving the opportunity to play in the best national and international rooms that  have summoned him.

Being a resident of the best clubs in his country like   Le-club, G-Club, Mer-Ka-Bah, Glow, Pipeline, The Apto , 7 floor , Fragma, and be part of the best electronic festivals in his  country   like  Rumba Laser @ Simon Bolivar park wiith over 160 thousand spectators, Black & White Lago Calima with 5 thousand spectators  and Ultramar Festival  with 40 thousand people.

He has shared the stage with DJs the likes of Armin Van Buuren, Paul Van Dyk, Carl Cox , Chuckie, Dash Berlin, Cosmic Gate, Ron Van Den Beuken, Tiesto, Axwell, Roger Sanchez, Laidback Luke    Alex Kenji, Starkillers, Jesse Garcia, Danny Leblack, Dani Masi Other.

Nominated in 2012 & 2013 by  Space Club colombian Dj awards in the categories of best dj pro, best nightclub resident, best music producer in  colombia and and winner record of the year in 2012 concreted Angel remix 


Those who have seen him play live will attest to his versatility both as a musician and a Dj. Sho Down grabs the attention in the club with flawlessly mixed sets of futuristic and cutting edge dance music, infused with tactical EFX trix and turntablist techniques.

 It all started in 1989 when a young Matt Staiduhar (AKA Dj Sho Down) started spinning records with some belt drive decks resurrected from the trash. Coming from several generations of musicians, his father saw his determination from very early on and rewarded his dedication with a pair of technic 1200s and a mixer at age 10. With an untamed passion for music, he dedicated his life to developing and mastering the art of scratch, while pushing the boundries of electronic music through his skillfully programmed sets.

Sho Down's influences range from early electro & breakin jams, to progressive house and techno. He has performed a broad range of shows from large scale underground events to the modern day club circuit and everything in between. At the turn of the millenium, Sho Down became part of the original group of Infamous Records Breakers. A versatile collective of turntablists who joined forces to impress crowds with their 10 turntable sets and jaw dropping performances. Djing was just the beginning. With his thirst for knowledge, and creative abilities, he decided to take a new direction in entering the world of music production and remixing.

Sho Down currently has releases out on Bush, Boo, and Active ingredient. With his eyes set on 2014, and upcoming remixes and original projects, Sho Down's burning desire for the limelight will not be extinguished anytime soon, so stay on the lookout for this rising star.
