Alexis Le-Tan and Tom Colebrook quite fluidly morph into our lazy initials: ALTC. Our current appreciation for an older psychedelic sound can be traced back to a dirty, careless and omnipotent period in the early 90’s when the sun, the Fridge Club or Space Tribe leggings brought our bodies together in time to these heroic sounds. Then it all sort of just wound down, more abruptly for some, and for a long time. But like old Smaug under the Lonely Mountain, we understood the longevity of gold. A few years just gone we embarked on a restlessly chaotic and passionate re-appraisal of our sonic past - just at a different speed. An ever growing archive and many edits later, we find ourselves still going; we are a happy and volatile little team, Mr. Le-Tan, who needs no introduction here, a Titan of this  slow sound - arguably the original, whose honed booth selections are regularly adorned by loyal crowds all over Europe. Mr. Colebrook, a flash in the pan veteran of the Goa scene, now mainly chief archivist and an Internal wordsmith of ill repute. 
There was a folder that existed in the archive called ‘The Socialists’ and over time as we pondered it, we began to understand the contents as taking on some sort of metaphor for a socialist arc of success and defeat, of growth and change, of hope and loss, of commitment and desertion, of lies and the truth, of battles and peace, emptiness and loss. Heroic themes indeed Comrades. As a musical selection, we wanted to imbue these metaphors with corresponding sonic inflections, sometimes we thought of sounds coming up through the ground to fight and be victorious or perhaps to lose, only to retreat and live another solitary day. Some were sounds for a moment of blissful morning sun soaked success, or the grey pulse of an imagined industrial trench. But above all - this selection of songs shows a commitment to each other and to the time and place they were made, and how they exist here - Now. We hope you enjoy the show!

Etbonz (aka Elliott Thomas) returns to @bed_of_roses-1 - this time with Energizer Gaze - a six-song EP beaming in from the furthest reaches of the astral plane.
Featuring a gargantuan remix from sonic titan Steve Moore, as well as remixes from Portland underground greats Grizz Thomas and Old World. The dreams are tangerine, ramping into a shimmering ecstatic current, summoning a pulsar of shredded tension - emitting a righteous blaze. The edge of the universe is a blade wielded by only those who can feel its pure love.

In the mid 90s in a small granny flat in a then rural Wicklow village a teenage producer kept himself busy making cassette tapes full of beats on his trusty s3000 sampler and an early wooden cased PC running Cubase v1. A world of music later comes this 8 track release for t-woc's home county label Remotetown. Consisting of live set extracts, MPC workouts and straight from desk to tape jams this collection of tracks are a connection to those days of constant experimentation with limited gear and endless imagination playing out like the flailing limbs seen through a strobe at a slow motion rave.
