An Argentinian based in Barcelona, @Gabriel-Ferreira is no newcomer to the world where techno, minimal and disco merge. His latest EP “Perisphere” which will be released by @sideupworks is a testament to this experimentation.

We are happy to premiere the lead track of this EP “Perisphere” re-interpreted by Marc Pinol. The original carries the drum programming based on rhythmic technostructure while the melody and bassline carry the heart of dark disco while the minimal hi-hat takes you on a ride and @MarcPinol transforms this into a minimal atmospheric acid journey.

Trilogy of Disjunction is an emotive collection of three ambient drone tracks composed by Italian multi-instrumentalist Natasha Giordano. They feature a minimal combination of analog synthesizers, classical violin recordings and haunting vocals by Natasha. Parisinos and Birds incorporate hypnotic acid lines, strong percussion and evolving textures in their re-imaginations of 'Dear Hollows' taking it to darker places and underground dance-floors.

C12 is a multidisciplinary nightclub and platform run by the Deep in House collective, located in the heart of Brussels. It's a safe place where freedom, diversity, creativity and alternative culture are protected from the restrictive and normative outside world. The project was launched in February 2018 and includes concerts, art installations, lives, club nights and exhibitions.

The Corona crisis is keeping our doors closed and dancefloor empty for several weeks now, with no hopes yet on new line-ups and crowds of enthusiastic dancers. But this unprecedented situation isn’t holding us still. Continuing to support our local Brussels and Belgian electronic music scene, C12 is proud to announce its own label with 10 music compilations dubbed Social Distancing. All artists involved are Belgian or strongly connected to the Brussels scene. Confirmed are Le Motel, Stellar OM Source, A.Brehme, Front De Cadeaux, Davy, OCB Casa Voyager, Cabasa, Techno Thriller, Orphan Swords, Different Fountains, Bear Bones Lay Low, Gols, Hadone, ... and our residents Session 4000, Kafim & Chris Ferreira. Compilations will also be curated by female artists promoting platform ‘Psst Mlle’ and queer culture collective ‘Benediction’.

Each edition consists of a collection of several tracks and will be released every two weeks, leading to a total of approximately fifty tracks. All music will be available to add on your favorite streaming service Soundcloud, Youtube, Spotify (coming soon) and Bandcamp. In addition for each track we offer a limited amount of 500 free downloads through our Bandcamp page, where donations are also enabled for those who wish to support us and the artists involved.

After appearances on Uncanny Valley, Lunatic, Ortloff, Leipzig resident CVBox is putting together a selection of three astonishing tracks for Lockertmatik. Artful uptempo celebration invites to ecstatic and dreamy atmospheres, driven by an overall optimistic tone, while taking place in a rather dark environment. The B-side lets you then land in an analogue city of sin. Process-related acoustic shadows meet unclear voices, now and then elusive snippet sounds. Finally, highhats and constant claps not only give you goose bumps and the expected relief through stability, but also let you feel this continuous drive of intense, almost unstoppable pulling sensation that the EP started with.

"A big moment for myself, as this is my own record label that will release primarily my own music. A special thanks to the City of Yarra for making this project possible by accepting my application for their COVID19 Quick Response grant.
The concept behind this record is that everything has been done witin Melbourne. All tracks were produced & mixed by myself. Mastering was also done locally by Corey Kikos (Sleed D). I went with Zenith Records which is a local vinyl pressing plant. Local record stores will get a round of records to sell exclusively, then the rest will be sold by myself either on Bandcamp or by hand.

I Lost My Poncho In Instambul invited a champions team to remix "ILPI001 - Pigmalião" and present to you the debut EP "ILPR001 - Pigmalião Remixed".
Starting by the head honcho from "Themes For Great Cities", monsieur Lucas Croon remixing the track Aurora, spicing the groove with some beautiful classic drum machines and trippy atmospheric layers. M.RUX's wonderful version of Zingili transports you to an unexpected, soft and intriguing territory while flirts with syncopated schizophrenic grooves. Ground's minimalistic version of Baskéda jumps into a hypnotic acidic vibe full of surprises and intense for the dance floor peak. The bell sounded through the corridors, quickly followed by the flinging open of doors one after another. Excited laughter rang loudly around the school, followed by the charge of small feet as they scrambled for the door. For most the end of term meant freedom, fun and new experiences. It meant time spent with family and friends, time spent visiting new places and spaces. But that wasn't the case for some; quite the opposite. School was their only sanctuary.

Hot on the heels of Ed Dix's EP, Playground Records welcome a newcomer to the family, Roam Records and Wonder Stories alumni John Parsley. For his label debut - which also features two remixes from Bird Of Paradise and Local Suicide & Time To Sleep - he brings several different flavours to the table. Levelled up dancefloor rhythms peppered with acid lines and electro arpeggios open proceedings, followed by tension inducing beats that marry distorted sounds with celestial sounds, and intense, downtempo breaks layered with eerie atmospheres and metallic modulations.
