Colombia’s Kaputt Club returns with another sterling various artist release featuring a host of talent that showcases the best in dark disco, electronica, electro and much more.
2020 saw the Bogota based club launch their eponymous imprint with a far reaching compilation, dropping tracks from a host of artists that perfectly represent the Kaputt sound as they further cement their position as a beacon of the Colombian underground. Now they are back with ten new and exclusive cuts which transcends the club and explores the human impact on the planet, and how nature came back to reclaim their land.
Born in quarantine when nature sounded much louder than usual, VozTerra a local non-profit organization invited people to listen to nature in 'Sounds from your window'. People in Colombia and around the world took the opportunity of the isolation to listen and record ths sounds of nature. The material, together with soundscapes previously recorded in the Van der Hammen Reserve and in the La Conejera Wetland, in Bogotá, were given to DJs from the electronic music scene to create musical pieces which are now part of the ‘Reserva/Voz Terra’ compilation.
The alliance of Kaputt.wav, VozTerra and the Museum for the United Nations - UN Live, is the compilation of unconventional actions that musicians and people from all over the world took to express their interest in caring for nature with the hope of inspiring people to take action to care for biodiversity and mitigate climate change.

Mysterious producer Virtual Reality is self-releasing two LPs: the 'Galaxi Zoo' & 'Hidden Galaxi' volumes. The two albums are part of the same body of work and are the products of months spent in the studio, mostly during the tough lockdown imposed on Italy in the Spring of 2020. 
Virtual Reality split albums mix a variety of influences going from Aphex Twin and Squarepusher to Detroit and Early Berlin Techno scenes, from Drexcyia to Burial. Each track is carefully crafted in the studio with the use of analogue machines and recorded natural sounds to keep a fantastic Industrial feel to it. This heterogeneous mixture of genres, sounds, art forms is the perfect exemplification of the infinite variety of elements that compose galaxies - the theme behind Virtual Reality's latest body of work. 
The project is also full of personal and intimate moments and is a truly heartfelt piece of music, also due to the fact it's dedicated to someone close to the artist who unfortunately is not with us anymore.

Long time friend and collaborator of the label, Theo Delaunay aka Panoptique aka Constance Chlore, releases his first solo album on Lyon's finest Macadam Mambo. Head of the Simple Music Experience label (dedicated to release punk experiment on tape), member of Violent Quand On Aime, Succhiamo, Simplists, Ono Omen and United Assholes, he had previously been part of the “Danzas Electricas” volumes 1 and 3, released a little single in 2019 and curated the “Simple Music Experience Vol.2” compilation in the house. 
Panoptique stick to what he knows to do the best, to present his stories, singing spoken words, gogolitos deliriums, whispers and rough voices on Minimal Synth Wave ballads or Drexciyan’s Electro bangers, it’s brut, mental, sometimes brutal and so so groovy in the meanwhile. Scottish imprint Bulletdodge Records release ‘Assortment 001’, a various artist compilation featuring an array of musical styles from artists such as Suna Path, Mash, The Revenge and more. ‘Assortment 1’ conveys Bulletdodge’s new vast musical direction as they continue down this path of musical exploration laying focus on experimental, post-punk, ambient and everything in between. It’s a collection of tracks that clearly demonstrates the label’s commitment to releasing music of varying styles and features tracks from established artists, new comers and a selection of prolific producers who have used an alter ego in order to retain anonymity.
Our chose here was Scottish production duo Suna Path keep the hypnotic moods flowing with ‘The Prophet’, a dubbed out cut with warming undertones, meditative bass and leads that alleviate you whilst the shattering synths progress with alarming effect.

2020 reminded everyone of how important it is to help each other, stick together and to create new and interesting experiences. Music is exactly what unites and helps us to experience both good and emotionally difficult times in our lives. 
On February 6th, the compilation album called "Dance for Belarus" released - the first release for the Belarusian label Estetika.
One of the main ideas of the label is the promotion of talented and promising Belarusian artists on the European stage. We want to give our artists the opportunity to reach a European audience, as well as to acquaint this audience with interesting artists from outside their usual sphere of influence” says the creator of the project, Alexei Aslamin.
The album will feature tracks from representatives from across the Belarusain electronic scene: Fitzzgerald, Schmoltz, Leap and Aslamin. The idea was also supported by European artists: Johannes Albert (DE), Donald Dust (UK), Daniel Monaco & Futuristant (NL) and Rambal Cochet (RU).
The release will be in aid of raising funds for Belarusians who were subjected to political repression after the August 9th rigged elections in Belarus.
