A veteran of the Dutch electronic scene with releases on Clone, Rush Hour and Ostgut Ton, he delivers a mix that's heavy on the funk and electro with some upcoming and unreleased music from the man himself. He told us this about the mix; "Not too much difficult arty distorted stuff. Of course none of the tracks i had in mind ended up in the mix, it went the same way as when dj in clubs: on the fly and moving from left to right touching all kinds of different musical areas. Not so much of todays house and techno this time as it kinda starts to bore me at the moment (but that can be different tomorrow). All in all a typical Dexter mix i'd say.”

PREMIERE #767 | Gregorythme - The Party Is Over (Solar Edit) [SolarSoundSystem] 2020

When reaching the heart of darkness alley and staring into the bassbins, feeling the low frequency soundwaves pounding rhythmically into the chest, there is only one thing you can do and that is to allow the kick drum to carry you away, it doesn't even matter where.
Alvaro Cabana takes control here and made an epic, otherworldly electro-acid beast which kicks hard and deliberate, hi hats that slice like switchblades and attack laden bleeps that bite hard into your cranium. This one builds and builds and builds peaks but somehow remains cool, synth-esque stabs, congas and toms decorate it like sugarskulls with pads on the breakdown wonky synths and heavy distorted appregio just before the drop kicks in. Six and a half minutes of an epic stomper which will surely carry you away. Just remember, you're safe in the dark alley, for now.

Strohm is the solo project by the young musician from Zurich, with which he is experimenting into different directions within electronic music. Strohm often gets inspired by field recordings or starts with raw live jams to use them as a basis for some sound design. His tracks are typically a little rough and include somewhat disturbing elements.
Schemes builds on a 3/4 industrial driven beat that Strohm wrote over a year ago. Just recently he revisited the idea and in a few sessions added the vocals to it, which center on the theme of shaping relationships rather than letting them evolve naturally. His friend came up with some synth pads and arpeggios, which helped to complete the track. 
Schemes is part of a compilation of the Futur8000 collective, which is based in Zurich and aims to unite young up-and-coming artists and producers from Switzerland and around the world by offering them a platform. On the compilation many different genres come together. Schemes represents the more raw, EBM and industrial inspired side of electronic music.
In June Strohm will appear on the first compilation by Zurich collective "Fagdom" (https://soundcloud.com/fagdom) with a happy and slightly crazy rave-tune. Stay tuned!!

Birds is a declaration of love to electronic music and psychedelia. Birds’ music is powerful and monotonous and she creates a dirty, warm and monumental soundscape.   
Wilkinson mean that “we must try and find harmony in what we have and try and aim towards something positive, despite the fact that we live in a society that’s been completed fucked via the selfish behaviour of others (and most probably, ourselves at times).” With Brexit and the new wave of racism, spreading over Europe Birds makes music for a generation left with little hope but with the desire for something to long for."

Napoli based duo Outtake take controls of new release on wonderful Night Noise Music imprint who doesnt stop in search of new talents and amazing charity work. For this release Outtake present two original mixes and remix from Mexican warrior Alex Aguayo.
Our choice was Monsterotico where they've kept the reverse noises that punctuate this wavy mix and rebuilt it into a kick of acid laden beast of a builder which for the first minute or so, one might be mistaken in thinking it is not going to break into a heavy noisy techno track but they did it. Peak time atomic bomb. Get in.

Helsinki-based label EABE Records presents ten quality tracks from local ambient producers on this compilation. Among the producers are some more experienced music makers and also younger talents of whom we'll surely hear more in the future.
The story of Finnish ambient started with keyboard player Esa Kotilainen's album Ajatuslapsi (1977) and continued in the 1990s with next generation producers like Mika Vainio alias Ø, Nemesis, Vladislav Delay and many others. Like in several other genres of electronic music, there has always been a reasonable amount of skill and talent among Finnish producers, though they might not be the biggest names worldwide. 
Our choice was 'As Air' by Jukka-Pekka Kervinen, a Finnish composer, electronic musician, writer and visual artist. His works are mainly focused on various algorithmic systems, programmed by the composer himself, from avantgarde chamber music to techno, IDM, glitch and ambient. 'As Air' is a work recorded real time using Reaktor, and a set of ChucK programs for manipulating samples and loops algorithmically during the session. Non-programmed sound parameters are improvised and adjusted manually by composer. The atmosphere on the track reminds of a factory or a railway station – or something else, it's up to the listener's imagination.
