After the confrontational Jack Carel EP in February, Whypeopledance is back with Marching Machines’ "Basement“ EP, a release dedicated to all the flashes you’re having of the culture we miss so much, to each hiss of the fog machine you remember, everybody you ever touched on the dance floor, and each staircase that took you underground.

Marching Machines are electronic music producer Dimitri Andreas, and former Radius Records boss and DJ, Spacid, both proudly wearing t-shirts saying „More than two decades in the biz“, and hailing from the country that gave the world some of the best electronic music ever, Belgium! Their new EP contains three original tracks, two remixes, and one instrumental, bringing us to a total of 6 reasons to peek through the keyhole and check out what’s hiding in the "Basement“.

Starting off with „Clamps“, Marching Machines open with a track for the nipples of the world and every club toilet queue you ever waited. The second track „Spreader“ brings you to the deepest darkroom fantasies by presenting memorable melodies. „Leash“ introduces deviant howls and nasty verses by Lithuania’s best-kept secret, Jaroška, something that would easily go on repeat in Gaspard Noe’s RECTUM club from Irreversible.
We are also happy to introduce two very unique flips to fill the basement's prophecy. Carcass Identity remix of „Leash“ is lubed to the bone, an omen of an incoming trip for the dirtiest of dancers. The second remixer on the EP is Five Rituals taking the originally singing synths of the future and cold-blooded march in the „Spreader“ for a walk on the break side of things.

The track "Leash (feat. Jaroška)" is as captivating as it is punchy, with the perfect amount of substance, it is presented with a powerful style that ranges from classic to edgy. Enjoy!

Modern Slavery is a 4-track EP including two original tracks and two remixes. Aurum (@aurummiles) delivers two slow-moving tracks driven with dark atmospheric sound design with obscure programmed female vocals layered with energetic basslines. To be released on the 22nd of July on Inflect Records (@inflectrecords).

The two original tracks are supplemented with two remixes. The first edit courtesy of Empathy Slow with his annotation of Vicious Dreams. A flourished remix that keeps the originality but Empathy slows signature sound embed within it. Shimmers of ray beams and arpeggiated melodies fill the space. With a haunting lead that sits behind the main groove. Beneath a pulsing deep bassline.

For Samo Records‘ 10th release and 5th anniversary, we‘ve involved some good friends of the label whose work we greatly admire. Greco-German power couple Local Suicide has teamed up with kindred spirit Skelesys to deliver two killer original tracks for the ‚No Evidence‘ EP.
The title track ‚No Evidence‘, inspired by old detective novels, blends Local Suicide‘s signature dark and moody sound with Skelesys‘ haunting melodies and subtle grooves.
‚Weird Encounters‘ conjures up heavy Berlin vibes (no coincidence, as all three musicians currently make the city their home), taking the listener on a girl‘s diso- rienting journey while lost at a party.
‚No Evidence‘ gets the remix treatment from both Intergalactic Gary (Viewlexx), interpreting it as a hypnotic EBM version, and Samo head honcho Facets, who of- fers a high-energy, arpeggiated take on the original. Anatolian Weapons (Beats in Space) deconstructs ‚Weird Encounters‘ and transforms it into a full-on rave machine.

"Benedikt Frey and Naia d’Alò's Init project received great initial praise through two well conceived pieces for John Talabot's Hivern disco back in 2015. Now the pair are back on Les Disques De La Mort with a four track EP rich with their moody techno delights.

"Stereometric" sees a swollen electric base gently plume as ghostly vox and slowly eroding artefacts are scattered through the mix; landing somewhere between Bay Area minimal wave and the taut techno meanderings of Marcel Dettman. 

"Nuts" is an anthemic slice of darkwave electro; tense, a little bit menacing and cinematic as hell - conjuring images of late night mutant car chases through guttural cityscapes. 

"Wheels" sees us dive down smacked-out electro-post-punk rabbit hole; landing in a drug stained bedsit around Hulme Crescents circa '89 with next doors party still in full swing two days since it began. 

"Mindwork" invites said neighboring crusties to an all-night post-Goa-trance rave up on some moonlit beach and populated by shady drug dealers and Mad Max type characters all locked into its full-throttle stomp. "

"QXT001" compilation is a first official release of Quixotical Records. Various Artists album with 17 artists and 13 tracks. It is going to be a great surprise to everyone who is into indie-dance, dark disco and electronic music.

"UNKNOWN SPACE" is a melancholic but intensive track with percussive arp groove and 80s synths main leads.
The combination and harmony of tenacious synths make tension and transform around reality into the space that we don't know.

Attracted by the cold spirit, bloody visions and scary grooves since his teenage years, @Mont_Cosmik started to search the darkest sound that fit in his pervert mind. DJ and producer, he cultivates a taste almost unhealthy about weird sounds from 70's and 80's, a period where the first electronic experiments were already able to go very far. Scatty synths, Racy rhythms, ghostly oscillations with a pinch of cynicism. DJ and producer based in Nantes, head of CrowHunt Records.
