Danny Ward’s musical journey has been anything but predictable. From his genre-spanning Dubble D project to the dancefloor grooves of Moodymanc and his pioneering work with 20:20 Soundsystem, Ward has consistently pushed boundaries. His resume boasts drumming for Fila Brazillia, Rae & Christian, The Pharcyde, and jazz talents like Mat Halsall and Nat Birchall. Add to that, collaborations with Flora Purim, Nightmares on Wax, and live percussion sets at Leeds' legendary Back To Basics, and you get a career defined by innovation. Now, through NuNorthern Soul, Ward introduces Balaphonic—a project born from lockdown experiments, online collaborations, and a deep-rooted passion for Afro-Cuban and Afro-Brazilian rhythms. His new offering ‘Resolution Revolutions’ is a richly textured and immersive album that redefines his sound.

During the pandemic, Ward locked himself in his studio, blending acoustic and electronic instruments while exploring diverse rhythms and grooves. He revisited past compositions with fresh ears and crafted new material from the ground up, resulting in a breathtaking collection of tracks.

I create Press & Promotional campaigns to promote new music releases. Predominantly 'Underground House', 'Techno', bit of 'Balearic' and my beloved 'Disco'.   I'd like to think I have a very personal approach, working with friends & contacts simply sharing great music over a chat. I choose only to work with music I adore, so you can be sure I'll be passionate when I am promoting your stuff . I strive to get your release placed, mentioned and played in all of the 'relevant' places as well as getting the 'right people' to endorse it. I'll provide you with good quality feedback to help drive the sales of your release pre launch as well as placing physical records into the hands of VIP players.  As with these things.. it's hard to predict exactly what we will achieve... but what I can promise is that I'll throw a hell of a lot passion and enthusiasm at it and that, coupled with my track record so far,  the result shouldn't be  too shabby.
