Biologic Records present a thirteen-track compilation to raise funds for SOS MEDITERRANEE, a European, maritime-humanitarian organisation for the rescue of life in the Mediterranean. It was founded by European citizens who chartered the rescue vessel Aquarius in order to save people in distress in the Central Mediterranean – the world’s most deadly migration route.

SOS Méditerranée works as a European association with teams in Germany, France, Italy and Switzerland in a European network, jointly financing and operating the rescue ship Aquarius, which has been in continuous operation since February 2016 in international waters between Italy and Libya. The medical care has been provided by Doctors without Borders since May 2016. Since launching they have welcomed more than 28,000 refugees aboard the Aquarius.

Participating in the compilation are a mix of Biologic regulars and newcomers alike.

SOS Méditerranée x Biologic Records is available July 20th as a digital-only release via Bandcamp. All profits will be donated.

When Pope Innocent II issued a Papal Edict stating that the reformist Cathar movement had to be eliminated from France, It's most likely that he did so off the back of an ancient prophesy found in the darkest depths of the Vatican stating that one day Andrew Weatherall will host a festival in their stronghold of Carcassonne and that off the back of it, Höga Nord Rekords would be releasing a wonderful pieces of vinyls to celebrate it every year, this time full of the music of that gorgeous hoodlum Luca Venezia AKA Curses.
Insomnia is a dirty sounding gothy dark dance record with a heady chorusladen bass guitar sound. Wavey synths, and a sophisticated suave and sassy melody which manages to tow the line between being uncompromising and keeping the dancefloor swelling. 
In September, Insomnia will no doubt form a staple of Curses set and will keep the dancefloor burning in the same way that heretics once burned on the forecourt of Carсassonne Castle. There was a weight which pressed firmly inside his chest, it was heavy and dense leaving him dizzy and confused. How could it be that he had this little left? Once upon a time he had been like them, almost equal in fact. He'd thought that he would have it all and that his reality was destined for the glory and fame of a bygone age. Now he was much like any other, a pauper and a sinner. 

Pletnev is set to release a new EP on Feines Tier - an interesting, oddball affair which challenges the preconceptions and limitations of modern day house music. The release is rounded off by a remix from Ana Helder - a well rounded release which comes highly recommended.

TAPAN - Good Times

Run by the French-Argentinian duo LuLúxpo and based in Barcelona since 2017, @ParadiseChildrenRecords continue their incursion into releasing music that constantly breaks genre barriers. Under the moniker @Ravage-Sentimental, singer, producer and early 90’s French DJ Miloch ’s sibling Anna Masurel lines up her sultry ‘Finnberget’ release. With an all female cast it comprises of two original moody indie dance tracks and two electronica-infused remixes by C.A.R. (@C_A_R) and Justine.

Title track ‘Finnberget’ unveils an intimate world outlined by the artist’s soft spoken lyrics. The hypnotic melody perches along a whirlwind bassline, while broody vocals add layers of mystery and magic.

On remix duties for this track is electronic off-pop producer C.A.R. who reconstructs the melody into a provocative and stimulating arrangement which really hits the spot.

Warmest Support Alliance compilation shaped quite instinctively during the thrilling period of the lockdown. The need to support others as well as ourselves kicked in pretty quickly, thus, ten independent tracks by various producers were carefully crafted and will be presented under the Ledotmat Musique label on the 14th of September. 

Among the artists as Stavaris, John Patter, Phun Thomas, and a few more,  brainwasher Koneliūnas appeared with the debut release. The track Grapes and Lemonade were born when summer plans were still ahead and autumn felt as far as it could be. Well, the future is here, so as the debut.
