After numerous releases in the past 12 months, Tel Aviv based Eliezer (@laze_65), joins Play Pal Music (@playpalmusic), along with friends of the label, Mufti (@muftimx) Skelesys (@skelesys) and Ackerman (@ackerman_music) to deliver 'Ritmica La Noar', three guitar laden sonic meditations backed up with remixes from French duo Kimshies, who pushes the tempo and stretches the fabrics weaving together a patchwork of fear and
loathing,  Modular Project who pulls the guitar and twisted harmonics from 'Don't Be', using them to create a widescreen technicolour opiate laden take and Tyu who rebuilds 'Halalit Ushma Tshuka' into a more tribal understated and up-tempo mutant dance rework.

As kid from the 80s Kay-Chi started an early musical journey influenced by John Carpenter’s Escape From New York. Years later exactly this movie was the inspiration for the songs compiled on the „Brighter Shadows“ EP. While watching it again in his studio he played along on his synthesizers and wrote new music, his very own music, for it. This has been an unfullfilled wish since his childhood that now came true by this great release.

Exclusive Date with Elvis 'So Glad (Curses Remix)'

Based in Marseille La dame Noir Records has put out several pieces of music that adds value to today's highly competitive (music) market not necessarily following a certain genre but definitely a certain vibe. So far the label introduced us to artists such as Niv Ast, Elizier, Darkness Has Never Been So Bright, Motel 77 and Curses. The latter returns to the label with a remix for La dame Noir's latest EP, 'First Date Remixes', for Date With Elvis. Stylistically Curses' remix approach to 'So Glad' is a driving downtempo track with New Wave, Disco-ish and Rock-influences with few vocals snippets taken from the original but delightfully integrated into his version that's so strongly soaking its audience into the artist's groove that it is hard to free oneself from the thought if this version coming to an end. Curses delivers yet another piece of music that passes the spirit of times and lets one re-experience the aforementioned genres for a first time.

Date With Elvis' EP 'First Date Remixes' will be released on La dame Noir Records on September 20th, 2019.
