Alexis Le-Tan and Tom Colebrook quite fluidly morph into our lazy initials: ALTC. Our current appreciation for an older psychedelic sound can be traced back to a dirty, careless and omnipotent period in the early 90’s when the sun, the Fridge Club or Space Tribe leggings brought our bodies together in time to these heroic sounds. Then it all sort of just wound down, more abruptly for some, and for a long time. But like old Smaug under the Lonely Mountain, we understood the longevity of gold. A few years just gone we embarked on a restlessly chaotic and passionate re-appraisal of our sonic past - just at a different speed. An ever growing archive and many edits later, we find ourselves still going; we are a happy and volatile little team, Mr. Le-Tan, who needs no introduction here, a Titan of this slow sound - arguably the original, whose honed booth selections are regularly adorned by loyal crowds all over Europe. Mr. Colebrook, a flash in the pan veteran of the Goa scene, now mainly chief archivist and an Internal wordsmith of ill repute.
There was a folder that existed in the archive called ‘The Socialists’ and over time as we pondered it, we began to understand the contents as taking on some sort of metaphor for a socialist arc of success and defeat, of growth and change, of hope and loss, of commitment and desertion, of lies and the truth, of battles and peace, emptiness and loss. Heroic themes indeed Comrades. As a musical selection, we wanted to imbue these metaphors with corresponding sonic inflections, sometimes we thought of sounds coming up through the ground to fight and be victorious or perhaps to lose, only to retreat and live another solitary day. Some were sounds for a moment of blissful morning sun soaked success, or the grey pulse of an imagined industrial trench. But above all - this selection of songs shows a commitment to each other and to the time and place they were made, and how they exist here - Now. We hope you enjoy the show!

Well we are back from our summer holidays with a new PREMIERE FROM PARDON MOI!!!! Its part of an EP which is set to be released this weekend in preparation for the Andrew Weatherall Convenanza Festival!!! 

A little bit of text about it:

Berlin based Pardon Moi, consisting of James Brook and Thomas Freudenthal, makes music that would fit perfect as a soundtrack for a ride in a Ferrari GTO convertible, or on a transatlantic flight on a Concorde. Unfortunately, vintage Ferraris are ridiculously expensive and Concords are taken out of flight but still, the music creates an air of luxury and decadence for you to fill your lungs and air with.,,Swiftly bursting into the electronic scene in 2016, the duo managed to release a couple of EPs and singles on Nein Records and Emerald & Doreen Recordings and then drew the attention of one of the most interesting and diverse European labels - Gothenburg based Höga Nord Records.,,Pardon Moi’s sound is warm, creative, uplifting and retro thanks to the use of analogue synthesisers. The musical direction is toward the future. A utopia built in a world where the 90s never happened. This is retro futuristic dance music, but the music doesn't stop with being only nostalgic but holds qualities that would make any actor within any scene of modern electronic dance music envy.'

Fontän have had the honour to be remixed by some of the most interesting names in electronic music: Red Axes, Timothy J. Fairplay, Khidja, Mythologen and Pardon Moi give their take on tracks from the duo’s latest release Fontän (Höga Nord Rekords, 2017). The music moves in the landscapes of Leftfield, Techno, House and New Wave.
The evolution of Fontän continues from the cold and barren landscapes of the Swedish west coast, through some of the deepest cave like studios in Europe, out on to the continental club scene.

Rubin Et Le Paradoxe are French.  So French that we can't find any promotional bio in English, but that doesn't really matter.  Certain bits of inforation coupled with listening to their music are pretty universal;  their love of Pink Floyd and the Alan Parsons Project for example and their love of off the wall dance music which permeated the late noughties. 
A stalwart of that sound and brilliant label in their own right,  Her Majesty’s Ship have called upon their services to release their next EP. As well as that, the Mighty Get a Room! have volunteered their services for remix duties.
The beginning of the track opens like the start of a Disney Film while gorgeous spoken word vocals before normal service gets resumed.  
Get a Room! remixes are rarer than hen's teeth and are genuinely and totally some of the best productions around.
It's always exciting getting the chance to write up a track as good as this.  Psychedelic, with on point production and in a language which British writers don't understand on account of being unable to speak any other language than English. That aside, this track is Killer.

Durand is an emerging artist that already have something more than « emerging » After released an EP and dropped some remixes for Nein Records he is now landing in the Esthetique family.
Living down in the south of Spain in the marvelous area of Andalusia. Durand was attracted very early by Dark Disco, Nu Disco, Synthwave, Techno sounds and found a great atmosphere in the SlowMotion scene.

After synthetised all of that kinds of musics and more he gets into djing in some of the best venues of Spain along great renowed djs. So the normal path after djiing is began to produce his own tracks. « Hot White Bubbles EP » is a great release for you to see what he can do, that all melting pot of sounds. Sweaty !!!!

For the remixes we have 2 greats guests : the awesome Italo Brutalo with a bouncy remix fo « Hot White Bubbles » And Argentinian producer Balam that bring « Fripoli » into a ethnic techno trance way.
