Iterations is the second album by Federico Chiesa aka Oora. While his first album Memoria was a  nostalgic journey back into his childhood, Iterations is conversely an escape from forced confinement, both physical and mental. 
For the first time in his production, Chiesa moves beyond the limitations of strictly using analog synths and drum machines. In the past he made extensive use of classic hardware such as the 303 and 808,  while incorporated sporadic field recordings and acoustic instruments. His vision for this album was to create an unreachable sonic space as a refuge from his daily apartment walls.
Each track is unearthed from a specific envisioned landscape. The outcome resulting in a cinematic experience that rises to an uplifting crescendo. The entire album was recorded and mixed in his Brooklyn apartment.

Il faut puiser dans l’alchimie et la divination pour saisir les ressorts profonds d’Arcanes, le nouvel ep de Modgeist. Pensés comme la bande son d’un film ésotérique, ces cinq morceaux déroulent le fil patient d’une histoire médiévale oubliée où se pressent les ombres lunaires d'un magicien, d'une impératrice et du Malin. Ce podcast en est inspiré.

Musicien et compositeur, Mikaël Charry plonge dans la musique électronique en 2001 et effectue ses premiers live au sein du collectif de free parties KNOBZ. Il est en parallèle le créateur et compositeur d’Anakronic Electro Orkestra, groupe phare de la scène electro-klezmer (5 albums, plus de 500 concerts et de multiples collaborations : David Krakauer, Marc Ribot, Bill Laswell, Vincent Peirani…) et a intégré en 2017 le groupe de rock industriel Punish Yourself. Rattrapé par l'univers addictif des synthés modulaires, il crée son projet solo, MODGEIST, et propose des performances live jouées sur un système modulaire Eurorack, passant de la techno progressive à de l’électro downtempo. Un retour aux sources, entremêlé de cryptogrammes et de mysticisme.

You have to draw on alchemy and divination to grasp the deep springs of Arcanes, the new ep from Modgeist. Conceived like the soundtrack of an esoteric film, these five pieces unfold the patient thread of a forgotten medieval story where the lunar shadows of a magician, an empress and the Evil One rush. This podcast is inspired by it.

Since the creation of the project at the beginning of 2016, he has played for more than a hundred events: in the first part of Jeff Mills at the Bikini de Toulouse for Electro Alternativ, at Château Perché.
