First single from the upcoming Cultivation debut album 'Plains, Hills & Mountains', 'Mother Nature' was written when Nepal was going through the tough times of the 2015 earthquake that rattled the whole country. Cultivation wrote words on this Lion Riddims (Dawn of Time riddim) to translate the moment and above all, thebeautiful geographical and diversity of Nepal and how its people shouldn't lose the unity they have had ever since!

Sebastapol is a city on the Crimean Peninsular, obviously the less I say about it the better given that half of the 44100 is Russian and it is part of disputed territory with the Ukraine, so instead I will just say that Sebastapol is also the pseudonym of Sebastien Bouchet, the French technohead responsible for the killer record on Michael Meyer's seminal Kompakt label, 'Gahalowood'. 
Deep and minimal and melodic and all the things you would expect from Bouchet. Weird bubblebath synths slowly give way to a building harmonic saw-wave sound which verges on trance but sounds slightly too trendy, classy and lacking cheese, Luclole is a hymn to both rhythm and sound and beauty and absolutely full of wonderful evocative sounds.
Echoe has had releases or remixes from Francesca Lombardo, the Italoboyz and Perfect Blue amongst others.  Bouchet is an excellent signing with an excellent EP which will make a fantastic digital stocking filler. Be sure to put it on your Santa wishlist.
