Sinchi returns with a fourth fantastic volume of its Altered States compilation featuring a wealth of innovative artists from Italy, Mexico, Russia, the UK and Montenegro. As always, the label will donate all money from sales to the Sinchi Foundation, supporting indigenous peoples worldwide.
After previous EPs on Clipp.art, Welofi, Bosconi and Dance Petrol Records, Italian artist LA Kena is now bringing some heat to Sinchi Collective. His finely crafted electro track 'Panda' was primarily inspired by the car of the same name. The exact vehicle also donated most of the samples to the song, which is a brilliantly bumpy ride through trancey arpeggiators, broken beats and dreamy pads.

After breaking through with her solo LP in 2019 ‘Hielo Boca’, multi disciplinary artist Viktoria Wehrmeister (also known as the "better half" of Tolouse Low Trax on their collaboration project Toresch) is taking a step forward with her newest creation ‘La Vida Te Busca’ (“Life is looking for you”).
On her new album Decha is refining her approach to songwriting yet not losing the naiveté and her own unique way of producing.
Not abandoning her infatuation with expressional self made languages, this time Viktoria (Viki) is taking another step forward and sings in Spanish and for the first time also in German. Her Lyrics involve self reflection about life and existence as a woman, as a mother, as an artist, as a creator. She sings about her day to day experiences, her emotions, and about her encounters with her surroundings - with the people, the nature, and her place amongst it all.

Lotus Wash drops his debut album on LBD Sounds, bringing a whole load of fresh material which came out from his experience as a session musician, and performing his experimental live sets around the Czech Republic. He connects the dots between classically trained musician and modular synth-head, working in Prague’s DIY shop and creative community Noise Kitchen. The album spans across 6 original tracks of pure analogue bliss and live ideas, alongside three remixes from his closest allies, local producers Oliver Torr, Vision of 1994, and Hrtl.
The Field Theory was created during a period of deep fascination with quantum physics, with the tracks being conceptually and aesthetically inspired by some of its phenomena. Acoustically, it’s mostly a slow and dark affair, with Lotus Wash only letting the light in very briefly when the sun is young (Magnetic Moment), keeping the shutter firmly closed for the rest of the record. His music does not rely on banging beats to drive it, instead letting intense grooves do the job from deep underground, just like on earth-shattering album opener Vacuum Fluctuation. He masters his craft of building atmosphere, a skill learnt during multiple collaborations with various Czech theatres. Of course, he lets the steam out occasionally, and always with devastating effect (Higgs Field, Casimir Force), but mostly choses to keep it capped, humming and hissing. When the sky clears, he opts for a minimalistic and hypnotic approach, only to disturb this peace with a killer bassline in one of the album’s highlights – Spooky Action in A Distance – later re-imagined and re-electrified by Oliver Torr. Standard Model is anything but your standard techno, while Hrtl’s remix of Magic Moment flirts with techno too, but on a dubbier and brighter side. Bringing the album to a close is Vision of 1994’s downtempo take on the same track, finally letting you breathe out.

A roundup of positive nostalgia from Fontaine SMC: two french artists and friends who share the same vision of electronic music. They have several project under other names, often axed on IDM/electro, but this time the joined the forces for a synthwave and punk flavor project.
I was a soldier EP is a social criticism/journey into human fears and hard relationships, synthetized into an 80s look, dusty and raw sounding.
A mix of punk dementia and the most intense dance music, the one that takes the joints and makes you move them well. A sound that seems to come from a white label from the start of 90s to mystery titillate the timpani of the contemporary listener, but it does so in a familiar way.

Following up Batozsek’s four slices on Vol 2, Ecdisis Vol 3 is fresh and ready to wreak some havoc. Some familiar names from the first volume of these series return for the third instalment as well as an otherworldly figure in the electronic music world. Up first is Vinilette, returning after her excellent appearance on Ecdisis Vol 1. A brood of beats take hold for Vinilette’s rework of Flux of Pink Indians’ “Nothing Is Not Done.” Tribal, this rhythmic romp is inspired by the 1986 piece on Uncarved Block. Layers of kick drums, bongos and toms echo and judder as a cold line circles and closes ever tighter. Following we have the head honcho, Juanpablo with his extended edit of Mac Blackout’s “Do The Dance In Your Head” which original version came out in Valencia’s imprint B.F.E. in 2011. The original song with its guttering guitar strings and nicotine stained vocals, proves ample ground for the Frigio boss to work with. The intro is given room, adopting a doom disco march, before the fearsome crash of strings. The lyrics, a lurid tale brimming with menace, are sweetened with twirling notes in this grisly stomper. The final attack sequence comes care of Mick Wills with his amazing cut of an unreleased track by Argentina’s great producer NGLY. Dark and looming this distortion streaked encounter will leave bodies and speaker cones raw. Three edits with one central vision. This is music that cuts to the bone, these are tracks that continue that intent first established by Ecdisis Vol 1. A collection with a serious impact, no doubt.

Despite the fact that Avacha is based in the northwestern administrative district, actually it is based on the entire surface of the Russian Federation and sometimes beyond its borders. From the Far East to the outskirts of the European part of the map, the geography of Avacha residents is as wide as our country is and the music tastes are wide, specific, and heterogeneous like the landscape of the Black Earth Region, the peaks of the Urals or the bottom of Lake Baikal.

On September 19, Avacha releases the “999% HITS” compilation. 8 tracks by domestic and not very domestic producers are designed to show the adequate side of contemporary music from Russia and the surrounding territories. The list of artists easily converts to the line-up of the best outsiders and underdogs festival.

Volta Cab opens the VA with an ethnic banger “Vertical Monopoly”, followed by duo Wolfstream and their Middle Eastern rockabilly track “Doctor Doctor”, then comes Alexei Kryuk's alter ego Bogdan who performs a nine-minute jam-passage “Drunken Swagga”, and Radial Gaze closes the dance question with the merciless "Micky, Licky Or Chicky". Conventional side B begins with a track with the self-explanatory title “It Was A Remix” from Panorama Channel, which will work easily both on the radio and on the dance floor, then Soft Metal calls upon all forces to break the disco with the hit “Humanism”, White Magik with its “Darkness” shows how disco sounds, mating with industrial under euphoretics. The wandering gang, Olta Karawane, ends with the song “Romanian Erotic Tradition,” which encourages all kinds of joy.

Secret Fusion is back with a new EP from SouveQ with Phunkadelica as well as SHMLSS and 88Dubs serving up the remixes.
SouveQ is a long standing DJ and producer who has a string of successful collaborative projects under his belt and since the beginning of the year has also been managing the label. He started his latest moniker as a live and production project in 2017 focusing on a synth laden, 80s influenced sound that draws on Nu wave, disco and techno.
Our choice here was remix from old friend of the label by Hungarian producer 88Dubs who's draw on all his years of know-how to offer up his own sizzling and unique remix.

After a very good 2020, Logia Records begins 2021 with a pretty strong release. Chinosynth’s single “La gran ciudad”, a very nice indie-dance track that smells the 80’s.
This single is followed by great remixes package by DELLA, Favio Inker, XLR, and Renuna in collaboration with Playa del Karma.
The Argentinian born, Barcelona based DELLA, gives us more electro version, with a little rave waves. On the other hand, Favio Inker with his version expands the range of melodies, one of his specialties. From Mexico, XRL brings a darker remix, on dark-disco’s way.
The last of the remixes, made by Logia’s members Playa del Karma and Renuna, a techno version, born for the dancefloor.

Tortuga, co-founder and resident of Size 13 builds up the EP with a 7 minute journey of sound. Ambient breakdowns and wonky synths can be heard alongside the constant flow of running water on this one.
