The latest TAPAN EP "Twenty One" tells a story about the year that everyone wants to forget. 
The world in 2021 felt so alienated and distant with the pandemic, lock-downs and travel bans. The future was uncertain. 
Two original tracks are setting the scenery of smoky night clubs with the kraut guitars and dubbed out acid lines. DJ Oil delivers a fantastic bass driven remix, while MR TC is giving us 12 minutes of his signature pulsating rhythms and trancey acid. 
This EP is the last TAPAN release before their sophomore album "Novi Svet" drops on @offenmusic owned buy by none else than the one and only @vladimir this fall.

Running a record label has sour moments and sweet moments. If this album had been produced by some super-advanced AI the prompt would have been: create the perfect mix of Daft Punk - Homework crossed with Brian Wilson - Pet Sounds containing shades of Moby - Play but with the complexity and scope of The Avalanches - Since I Left You, containing a few saucy licks of Nile Rogers funk, dainty fragments of French psychedelic library-kitsch, mind-expanding flourishes from the BBC radiophonic workshop, all culminating with a bell-filled percussive piano ballad outro masterpiece produced by Brian Eno and Four Tet on 180 mics of LSD after watching Sesame Street with Lee Perry.

Justify My Love (Promiscuous)

For Breathing Room’s sophomore release, the Toronto based label look to Swiss multi-instrumentalist Bixi to supply the goods. The German producer exudes warm and tropical vibes across the five track vinyl release entitled ‘Aquarius’. Rich in deft live instrumentation and clever sample work, an organic feel flutters through each track with bubbling water, forest-inspired atmosphere, ethnic percussion and gentle handclaps the order of the day. Once again the release is presented with beautiful artwork by 3D and visual artist Maks Pihs. Definitely a label to keep an eye on.

We invited a team of champions to remix "ILPI001 - Pigmalião" and we are proud to present to you the debut EP "ILPR001 - Pigmalião Remixed"

Starting by the head honcho from "Themes For Great Cities", monsieur Lucas Croon remixing the track Aurora, spicing the groove with some beautiful classic drum machines and trippy atmospheric layers. M.RUX's wonderful version of Zingili transports you to an unexpected, soft and intriguing territory while flirts with syncopated schizophrenic grooves. Ground's minimalistic version of Baskéda jumps into a hypnotic acidic vibe full of surprises and intense for the dance floor peak. And "nel gran finale" Rodion's cyberpunk version of Bahiafro has an imposing strong bass line attitude and futuristic layers.
